PNB SIF attains maturity on July 5

Permodalan Nasional Bhd Structured Investment Fund (PNB SIF) reached its maturity date on July 5, Amanah Mutual Bhd (AMB) announced today.

AMB will redeem the full invested amount to unit holders based on the last net asset value (NAV) of RM1.1205, said AMB in a statement today.

AMB is subsidiary of Amanah Saham Nasional Bhd (ASNB), while PNB is the ultimate holding of AMB.

"As at June 30, the fund has recorded a total return (5 years) of
29.75 per cent, with an annualised return of 5.35 per cent per annum.

"During the tenure of the fund, PNB SIF has declared income distributions for four years in a row for the year 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 and the total distribution was 15.88 sen," AMB said.

PNB SIF, a close-ended fund of a five-year tenure, was launched on May 12, 2008, with a par value of RM1.00. It is a Mixed Asset fund with an investment objective of providing investment opportunities that generate reasonable returns and growth over the tenure of the fund while endeavouring to provide capital
protection to unit holders.

This year, prior to PNB SIF, AMB Dana Aqeel-Capital Protected (AMBDAQ-CP) attained its maturity on May 3.

AMBDAQ-CP Fund of three years recorded a total return of 11.98 per cent since inception with an annualised return of 3.85 per cent as at April 30

Post Office staff more "friendlier" compared those Banks. They willing to help to their best (even it take more time) unlike bank staff. Just try once or twice, immediately give back the passbook & say "tak ada lar Encik, Cuba try MINGGU / BULAN Depan" doh.gif

QUOTE(lucifah @ Aug 5 2013, 07:10 PM)

i was lucky enough to be classified as bumiputra from day 1. a few of my friends who have mixed parentage have lots of difficulties opening ASB - to the extent of going to court for a swear-up to declare they are bumiputra  laugh.gif

and that guy looks like an iban, while i look like 105% chinese.
*
Maybe the father is non bumi or foreigner & mother bumi sabah/sarawak? Maybe that's the problem. If not mistaken, in those state constitution, father need to be bumi, then only children considered bumi. Other way around not consider bumi status children. Sometimes peninsular Malaysia people get confuse over it thus asking court order / swear - up.

Only in BolehLand biggrin.gif

wanna ask.. the max investment per person for ASB is only 200k.. so why need to loan up to 400k?
from my opinion, it is not worth it to tied up 200k loan.. but that is my opinion only la..
*
Maybe he got some "special quota", can put maximum 400k (excluding dividend) smile.gif

In Sabah and peninsular, as long as one of the parents is native/ bumi, then the kids could become a native/bumi.
For Sarawak both parents must be bumi.
