bombed my tank with zentel yesterday afternoon... today morning i see almost all hydra died/gone adi... fish is doing fine, oto's fries still swimming up n down my tank... assassin snail still burrowed near my driftwood....

so far so good... gonna bomb 2nd time today afternoon with same amount of zentel... wish me luck smile.gif

ya...good idea..prolly it is better to wait for 2 or 3 days...coz albendazole doesnt photodegrade that much.. ill do a major wc tomorrow n then dose again on sunday, as a prophylaxis for surviving polyps...(my sole amano looks stressed... prolly becoz of the meds...)

were told that GSA hav lifecycle of 3 weeks...after that theyll die off n wont come back again...if scrape would spread them to other part of tank...

had alot of GSA in my tank 2... already left them for 2 weeks... hope theyll just magically die off next week...lol...

edit:- zentel dosing for hydra update...done a major water change on friday itself, then didnt dose anymore (i dosed 1 time only) cant see any hydra polyp anymore...oto n cory was doing fine, amano barely surviving, ... n i think it also kill most of nematodes in my tank... will see in 2 weeks time, if still no hydra then i deemed this method is successful flex.gif

opps... got confused... it is green dust algae...not green spot algae.... lol... got that too... reduced my photoperiod to 8 hrs from 12 hrs before, n reducing my water change from 4 days once to 7 days once to increase my nitrate lv.. .seems helping....

but pretty sure the last time i went to jalan pasar, they have them for sale, but you need to specify which type of dimmer for which type of use.
if youre planning to use it for lighting, just bring your light set there , much easier and they sometimes can assemble it for a fee or free (worth the hassle eh?)

btw, my noob plant setup repost on lyn using el-cheapo guppy tank hehe. not the same level as all the sifus tank here  sweat.gif  still long way to go to reach that level

it maybe just your camera, but pH indicator looks yellow ooo..dont you think your water abit too acidic? o_O or issit becoz u use different brand than mine... sleep.gif?

hmm..that means my thermometer got error too...cb like that my water is prolly ard 29-31 C, not 25-26 C... will 'borrow' electronic thermometer from lab tomoro...see what my water temp actually is...

btw anybody keep tetra here? how many times did u feed ur tetra? n feed them with what brand of food? any recommendation?

btw is there any reason if tetra suddenly become aggresive in tank? my group of neon tetra is terrorised by this one lone 'gangsta' neon tetra...he was so aggresive until all my other 4 neon tetra went to hiding...wtf is wrong wit him? i tot tetra suppose to be a social non territorial n peaceful fish? is ity becoz overstocking?

my tank is a 40L tank, current stock is 1 leopard cory, 4 oto, 5 rummy n 5 neon tetra...
