btw, just the maybank treatpoints catalogue, i guess this is new? 1800 TP for rm10 coffeebean voucher, not a bad choice..for ppl who frequent coffee bean, overall it's 9k TP for rm50, which is one of the lowest TP usage for shopping vouchers.

yesterday went parkson member sales, gf bought cosmetic, i used TP to redeem rm50 voucher, coz member sales we get another rm30 voucher....the feeling is good yo!

problem is it's on a friday, so no 5%, cant wait till sunday (1st july) as well coz the member sales only on friday....

erm...not necessary rite? if it's posted today (not transaction date), should go into June instead..not mer?

funny, i swiped twice at parkson in 1 hour interval, for amex yesterday..

1st transaction is in m2u already...2nd is not...hopefully it get posted tomolo (1st july)?

the rm30 nothing to do with mbb cards..

it's promo from parkson itself..

the official promo is "every rm150 spend, get rm10 voucher", but the sales girl mentioned, coz we bought rm220 stuff, we get rm30 voucher, if rm300, get rm50 voucher..

and 5x bonus link points..

but i guess it's only for yesterday?

my gf always buy cosmetic only during these period of time

i've double checked the receipt...

the rm50 voucher i've redeemed with TP, the amount still get me 5x bonus link points, and i've remember looking into the back of the voucher, no mention of the voucher not eligible for bonuslink / parkson point..

while the rm 30 (3x rm10 vouchers) that i've received, clearly stated that it's not eligible for points...which is true, for the purchase i've done using the rm30 voucher, i've checked the receipt, not eligible...

the redeemed voucher is "gift voucher"....

it's even eligible to redeem the member days sales voucher..

coz the the amount we spend is rm230, if minus rm50 of voucher being used, it's only rm180, rm150 only give rm10 voucher. we got rm30 voucher.

of coz, can't claim TP la..for the rm50, coz technically i only pay rm180 instead of rm230

between pink and yellow/amber, one can used to redeem on cosmetic, the other don't, i can't remember which is which...

for parkson sales, they usually give a combination of both if redeem more than rm10....

my gf learned from past experience, buy cosmetic 1st then only use the voucher to redeem other like lingerie instead of the other way round

until 30/31 of the month...

mbb amex cash rebate is following calendar month, 1st of the month until last day of the month, nothing to do with ur statement date, unlike other credit cards..

but i've been using mbb amex since last oct, so far, only one of my transaction the posting date is later than transaction date, usually it's the same....

erm...i dun get it...why all these question now?

i tot ronnie, u said that, say, if transaction date = last day of month, posting date = 1st of next month, the rebate would be on next month?

there's no chance that the swipe on 30th June wun get 5% rebate at all rite? since even if the 5% rebate is based on posting date, provided it's posted on 1st july (still weekends), still eligible for 5%, not mer?

bear in mind, the rebate is shared by both principal and sub card, if i'm not mistaken

i have one incident where m2u is not reflected yet for 2 days, but the posting date and transaction date for that particular transaction is exactly when i make the transaction....

seems like m2u is a bit slow this time, even the transaction i did on friday is not in yet...

that's why i was confused too, when "senior" question about it for the last 2 days

but for my case, somehow, i got 2 transactions at parkson on friday, 29th, both 1 hour apart only..

the earlier one, got transaction date and posting date on 29th...

while the latter one, transaction date is 29th, posting date is 1st July

not that it matter coz it's transact on a friday (not eligible for 5%), just that 1st time my transaction date and posting date is 2/3 days apart
