Just ordered mine via TaoBao

Just received email from Cytron informing me shipment of RP4B will be late by 2 days. To compensate, Cytron is crediting RM20 into our Cytron Cash account.

I have 2 orders and one of the order which was ordered much later stage. Just received call from them personally to inform me 2nd order won't be shipped until end of next Friday.

I have been a great fan of the Rasp Pi ever since it was launched.

Just received a personal call from Cytron to inform of delayed shipment again. Will only ship out on 9/8/19.

Anyone here got their RPi4B and playing with it?

For those with old RPi2 or 3 lying around, go ahead and install PiVPN and Pi-Hole on it. I just installed Pi-Hole yesterday and was amazed at how much traffic was going out of my home devices and how much traffic had been blocked. It also speeds up your network due to the unclogging.

I'm stuck with IPv6 issue on PI Hole due to DHCP-PD w/ dynamic IPv6 address.

Not sure how can I set it correctly so pi-hole actually block ads on IPv6

Actually I'm still not quite convinced about Cytron not aware about the quantity of the shipment. Reason because my 1st order was done within the first 30 minutes when pre-order open.

That time there's still plenty of stocks... I guess they just want to absorb as many pre-orders as possible

I'm quite disappointed with Cytron over the double delay issue too. My first deal with them and it had to start out on a bad note.
BTW the alloy RPi4 case heat sink with double fan I ordered from TaoBao arrived today. It had only 2 pcs of 3M thermal silica tape with it. Was expecting 3pcs.
Just saw on Shopee a seller selling at cheaper price with 3pcs of the tape but it is on 15 day preoder too from overseas.

Interestingly, Pi4 has been shipped.

Yes, surprisingly I received notification about it too.
Looks like my disappointment is short-lived.
If they keep to their words, I might consider getting a second RPi4B 2GB from them.

What are the prices for this at TaoBao and Shopee?

1st Pi4 received at home... I'm waiting for 2nd unit which supposed to be delivered to office by today as well...

Update, received both Pi4 but alittle disappointed as I'm not sure what happened but the plug I ordered was EU plug instead of UK plug.

I thought it's UK when I added to the cart... Hmmmm

Barely running. Would surely be better on rp4.
