OSMC is Debian based Linux and XBMC is run on top of it
OpenElec is purely XBMC.much more snappier than OSMC.

As long as Yatse n the RPI is in the same network, ure good to go.no need any wifi dongle

thumbup.gif which uni? Mine is also funded by academic, nothing much to do with the clusters except proof of concept. I did write a very small message passing program to try out parallel programming.noticed that the more nodes u have, the more difficult it is to manage laugh.gif

The links technical detail is quite outdated, but it serves as a guideline on what to do. Some minor modifications needed with newer version tools / applications used.

It took like one week to reach my place. BTW I'm staying in Australia right now. The time might be different compared to Malaysia.

Nice setup...want to let one go? tongue.gif

BTW....your exposed conductors on the power connector does pose a shock risk. Be careful.

Nice thumbup.gif Yah, some program doesn't benefit much after a certain amount of node being used, but some do. I'm still exploring, but my rig had been sitting idle for some time. Too busy whistling.gif
