Hi all smile.gif
I'm wondering when credit cards are promoted to have cash back on "retail" spending, does that include online too?
Most of my transactions are done online - via online payment gateways, paypal etc.
What do you guys recommend as the best credit / debit card? (can take into account all premium/platinum cards too)

And for overseas (foreign currency) online transactions as well?

I read quite a number of review sites but I'm unsure if overseas /retail spending applies to online transactions.

Many thanks for your reply! smile.gif)

Online Purchase also Consider as Retail Spending... nod.gif
Retail Spending (Transaction) = All Purchases of Goods or Services (including all the Billing, Insurance, Quit Rent, Assessment Fee...) Charged to the Credit Card
But, NOT Including : ALL Cash Advances, Balance Transfer, Instalment Payment Plan, other Credit Plan, Annual Fee & Charges.. rolleyes.gif

No EZ Way to apply CC coz Your Have been Blacklisted before... sweat.gif
Not Long Before 1 forumer have inform that, Our CCRIS Record, with any number 3 will have 0% chances while any number 2 is 20% and any number 1 will have 50% chances in you application approval with ANY Bank

Maybe Can try after You have Finish Paid Off Your Installment, 1 / 2 Years later, but Not Now... sweat.gif

Hello, I'm very new to credit card and yet apply any banks at this moment.

I'm about to apply from HSBC but after I read the T&C (Link below), the one that I'm not really understand is, from points 3 onwards stated Monthly Management Fee.

Is that mean I have to pay every month? Quite confuse actually.
*
If You Settle All Your Outstanding Balance in Time, There will be NO Interest (Monthly Management Fee) Charge to You... nod.gif

HSBC Card Fee & Charges: http://www.hsbc.com.my/1/2/personal-bankin...rd-fees-charges

HSBC Amanah Card:http: http://www.hsbcamanah.com.my/1/2/amanah/pe...al/credit-cards (with Annual Fee Waiver, Subject to min 12 swipes per year)

I have terminated my card account and I want to keep the card as memento due to its design. My question is, will it still go through and being charged if it is swiped?

Previously, I destroyed everything; the chip, magnetic strip, the CVC and cut it to small bits.

Sure, The Card Will Decline when Use it, becoz your Account have been Blocked/ Cancel.... nod.gif

Is it a normal practice for some merchants to enter your card details on their point-of-sale (POS) computer on top of the usual swipe on the credit card terminal (that is connected to the bank for verification) ? why are merchants allowed to store your card details? anyone? thanks in advance.

They Just Keep it as Record to Refer in Case they have lost the Credit Card Slip that have Your Signature on... smile.gif

Hi, i read thru 1st post, but I think the question i wanted to ask is too noob so it wasnt stated or i dont even know which category it falls in.

Does other credit card from the same bank will share the credit limit?
EG: Card A from MBB credit limit 7K, used up 6K, left 1k
Then when apply new card B from MBB with credit limit 8K, will it be like:
8K - 6k credit from the Card A? so i actually left 3K to use on Card B?
*
Nowadays, Yes Most of It have to Share Credit Limit
e.g Card A $5,000 CL later Apply Card B get $5,000 CL Total Combine CL $10,000 if Card A Used $3500 It Will Remainder $6.5k CL on Card A + Card B
