Nothing major.
Some picky people will pick on the arrow key area case molding, some people will complain about the rubber coating.
If you are not particular about it , go ahead.

so far, I've never heard of any quality issues with Quire Fire Rapid. Even if there's any complain, they're regarding personal preferences such as the rubberized coating and etc..
*
Okay, thanks. How about custom keycaps? Is the keyboard compatible with most custom keycaps?

Nope, it is quite well known that CM Storm and some Filco MJ2 are having the arrow keys offset problem
Though, also as stated, it should not affect the use of the keyboard. Infact nonpicky ppl should probably won't realize bout it.

I thought that isn't something that would affect the usage or durability of the board, unlike the build quality *coughrazercough* have tho..

just go ahead with whatever you interested.
It is useless to wait for the "next" kb as you will eventually get them all...

in this neopoly world, sometime isn't a thing cheap, but others expensive...
also, it is normal that most of us here are having more than one kb...

Btw guys, vortex (kbt) are launching metal keycaps... Potential cheap metal keycaps for mass?

I only know the price for the Rapids. RM238 for blue, black, and brown. RM290 for red. I think it's quite cheap compared to the other sellers. Or is it just me? tongue.gif

i've got the keyboard from China......
that BTC-5339...
its coooool!!
http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=1165518382
the key position are extremely awkward, but it actually actuation the 104 keys ANSI key when I press the keys in the boards, like when I press the A key in the keyboard, it actually is a Q, the W is Z, the ; is M, the ! is /, etc. so I touch type on it just felt like an normal arrangement. the keys actuation are really shallow, like 1 or 2 mm is enough to register a key, force I do not have any thing to measure the weight force, but it is lighter than the red switch from Leopold, the key caps are lower than the Filco's, I thought it would be like the cherry's original's, so I try to place 3 key from the keypad that is now cycling to me now, the R2 line 123 pn the V B N key, but they are not same height, so I replace them with my Steelseries' ABS, most of the characters and ,./;'][\=-` place are exact the same, the shift and enter are different, the backspace are irreplaceable, the ctrl and alt are much bigger because of lack of Window key, 1988 there is not that common I think, the space bar are about 40% longer than the Chinese d***... i mean Filco's space bar. The home, delete, page up/dwn, insert all work same as the normal keyboards, the Num Lock jis Verr num, COOOL!!! escape are size of ALT key. there is a key beside the left shift, (\) key, and the left shift are size of Fn key of the Steelseries.
WOW will upload photo soon!

Let me know if you'd like to share shipping.
Expect to be lower than $200 per shell currently.
