Price drop after just 1 mth is simply ridiculous. Maybe its not selling so well previously.
Frankly more than 2k+ is simply overpriced.
Only rich ppl and zealots will buy.

well, price drop might happen again after the new ipad launched, but lets hope not.. they are different class, or might slightly different in purpose too.. hope Sammy not too chick out to Apple

I won't even consider this as tablet. It's a phone, i mean, yeah it's too big. But still, it is not in the same class with ipad.

I've never seen a sudden price drop like this. Do you? Not saying emotional imbalance but this is just making me sad.

The price drop will not be an issue for the early adopters - at least for me... I bought my note few days after the launch and I satisfy with it... I pay for what I get...

But the price drop will certainly give emotional imbalance to those who just bought it few days before they announce the new price...

Sammy need to look into it next time... RM200 in a month... Sigh!!!

But Tab 7.7 is still a great device after all...

however i'm quite surprise that the sales person quoting me the old price until i told them about the price reduction...they also make some calls to verify it..duhh...how can this be..

because normal2 shop always compare.. "aa u try pegi SEP they still sell 2099 balblablaba"

Samsung control the RRP... By right SEP should follow it since they are samsung exclusive partner... If shop refuse to sell at RRP price you could always go somewhere else... If SEP refuse why not try complain to samsung... If lucky u maybe get some free gift for all the trouble...

Yes, the price drop for this new products is quite fast. Not even 1quarter.

The move made by Apple by lowering the price of iPad 2 does make Sammy worried... Plus the New iPad will be arriving anytime soon also make Sammy to think twice about the 7.7 price... Why bother buying a 7 inch tablet while you can get iPad 2 with the same price... Especially those who can't decide either iPad or Tab

Besides as mentioned before, sales may had been very bad, so no choice but to lower the price.
Something like kimchi car also, price is lower compared to japenis brands even though more features.

First to buy always high price..this tab i bought ap set 1939...my current dhd i bough at 2299..even higher price than my tab...nexus s i bought old tech..just b4 galaxy nexus launching..rm 800..so u want an early bird..pay higher..hehe..
