Guys! I've been using fonepro 5 from fonemax screen protector since my 1st day using GTab.

I bought it at One Gadget located at Sunway Pyramid which cost me RM89.00  cry.gif
The seller told me that it is the best screen protector yet for GTab 7.7 bcoz it dont block the colour as matte SP did.
The moment the storekeeper apply it on my GTab I could see the rainbow effect but the seller convince me it will faded after 2 or 3 days as the glue is cured.

After few days the rainbow effect still there.
It did block the colour of the tab coz when i compared my friend GNote colour is more vibrant.

Anybody can recommend me any good SP? Is the normal clear type SP already enuff for our tab coz i dont want to get frustrated with the overpriced SP again.

it's impossible for the rainbow effect to fade. it's the structure of the SP itself that caused such thing.

therefore, take it out, either don't use or use any cheapo Clear view SP which works for me. biggrin.gif

I don't use any SP at all. I prefer screen naked. Same goes for my phones too

Wow.. Uncle benny, is it really ok if go for naked? beside mine is covered with book cover all the time.

I didn't use any SP from Day 1 and so far no any scratches.
Super Amoled Plus screen goes best without any SP.

But if you still want to apply SP...make sure it's a good brand.
If cheapo brand...if will cause rainbow, wash-out or halo effects.

Got this 'free' Sp from direct d that came along with the rotating folder..
Its a clear version n the only rainbow is where the scratches are.. That's another story lol...

the asus tab is abt a year old without Sp, so far, no scratches.. Its got a folder too..
Kids use it allot..

I use a damp cloth to clean surface when out gets to grimey...

Nope no more. I asked that before I decided to purchase it outright cause the free case deal is really good.

true enough, after the launch of the new ipad, samsung has no choice but to reduce price of their flagship tablet.
now it's time to hunt for a good deal.

btw anybody know where to buy a good quality replica Anymode book case?

QUOTE
If you’re in the market for a 7-inch tablet, now is the probably the best time to get one. Samsung has revised the prices for two of the best 7-inch tablets in the market at the moment.

The Galaxy Tab 7.7 is now RM1,899 from RM2,099 and the Galaxy 7.0 Plus has been reduced to RM1,399 from RM1,699.

The revised pricing makes the 7-inch tablets from Samsung a tantalising proposition. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 features the largest Super AMOLED Plus display on a consumer device. At 1280×800 resolution, you’re assured of sharp images and videos as well. In addition, the 1.4Ghz dual-core Exynos processor and 1GB RAM makes the Galaxy Tab 7.7 the most powerful 7-inch tablet in the Malaysian market at the moment. Have we mentioned that the 3MP camera is among the best we’ve used as well?

The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is by far the best value for money device you can get right now. For a smidgen under RM1,400, you get the same processing power as the Galaxy S II, a 7-inch 1024×600 pixel PLS LCD display and a very impressive 3MP rear shooter. With the 7.0 Plus there’s an infra-red port as well. Coupled with a pre-installed app, the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a rather good universal remote as well.

On top of all this, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 and 7.0 Plus can handle phone calls, text messages and support Whatsapp, there’s nothing in the market that comes close these two can offer at the moment.

Aiyoooooo...so sad. Anyway, the wifi only version costs about 1.3k now. Quite a good buy. Wondering whether it suits my father or not. For me, android still too complicated for elders.
