QUOTE(Ramjade @ Jan 13 2023, 09:24 PM)
I am not working in Singapore.

I got no exposure to financial planner cause I am too poor to pay RM200/h. Going to get a zoom session with an independent financial planner soon (courtesy of my friend intro) and the independent financial planner agree to waive her fees.

Don't worry. I still dislike agents. Like I said, if I can do online, I would have done it online. I already contacted prudnetial company and they send some guy who only does prudentialBSN only. Talk for like 20 minutes and came to conclusion, what he does not have any products that match my criteria at all. Contacted prudential again and told them don't send a person who only does prudentialBSN. Send me a person who is doing prudential (non islamic product). Still waiting for reply from them. Nothing.

perhaps if next time the person whom they are sending to you,....
if that person that is coming were to call you first,...
perhaps ask / confirm with him some details first...
so as not to waste your time, .... waste of his time is ok as it is his job and his work arrangement. He can learn a thing or 2 from you too.

Any agent here willing to give me a quotation for hibah + medical card + critical illness? For my sister.

But as a gentle reminder,  this is purely just a quotation. If let say she agreed w the quotation, only then i will contact you to proceed. Else, nfa 😁

She already had hibah / medical card / critical illness. But from a different company. Just wanna survey 1st. Thanks

I can do about 8 takaful companies for comparison.

It'll not be free since you'll be taking my time.

Recently, I look at Total Multi Crisis care, it stated that 50% claim for Early Critical illness.
Let say my sum insured is 100k.
I get 1st stage of a critical illness - claim 50k.
if let say the illness go to intermediate stage - claim another 50k? or only can claim another 50k when go to late stage?

Thanks

as long as early / intermediate stage = 50k
same illness escalate to late stage = remaining 50k

For Total Multi Crisis Care, you'll get 50k upon early / intermediate. Should it progress to Late Stage subsequently, then the balance 50k is paid.

Hi, what are the options for rider medical coverage without ILP? A PruBSN agent said they have one product where the investment is taken care of by the insurance company and the insured person doesnt need to choose which fund to invest to etc (think it was total care or something). Downside was no cash value but i think most ppl wont be looking for cash value, but more for offsetting future medical inflation. Didn't get into too much details but wanted to see if Pru conventional insurance has anything similar?

If you are looking for standalone conventional prudential medical insurance it doesn't exist unless you want to buy the online version with coverage of RM100k, with no agent involvement.

Only islamic takaful version have standalone insurance.

Paging for roystevenung

There is only term insurance if you wish to opt without investment.

There is under conventional but the product is not the latest

If you want multipay critical illness (all stages) try singlife. Go via moneyowl. It's cheaper than most critical illness insurance in Malaysia. Downside is you need to travel to Singapore to sign the insurance and all documents (medical report) need to be verified by notary in Malaysia before posting down to Singapore.

Upside is they give you rebate of 30% of your first year premium.

I am not affiliated/commissioned by or with singlife or moneyowl but I sign-up with them for the following
1. Way cheaper premium than what Malaysia side can offer me.
2. Multiple payment for all stages. Even early stage they pay out 100% unlike Malaysia part.
3. They give rebate for first year premium. Which no insurance company in Malaysia does.
4. More payout than Malaysia companies (if you need it).
5. Not sure 2-3x the original coverage with advance stage (can't remember).
6. In short better value for money than what Malaysia offer.
