How do u explain Iphone 4 not giving out heat at all? I understand your point, i also feel unconfortable with the heat given out by this phone.
*
Oyy, trolling ar? lol

Never had chance to use iPhone4, so I can't comment on this.

Anyone want to lend me? At least I can bench it against my usual usage and see IF iPhone4 really doesn't heats up.

My usage very simple one, seldom play games also. My only complaints on heat would be either no signal and Android tried too hard to get a signal, seriously drained the battery. Or something wrong in the services that causes power drain. Requires reboot.

Then lets just hope that next Nexus will use glass instead of plastic.

The whole drop test thing will flood Youtube all over again. laugh.gif

Notice how there's only 1 drop test on GNex so far, and it's not the conventional drop test onto tarmac/hard concrete kind. Maybe people just love GNex's to drop test it. laugh.gif

Aiyohh..ex-fruity is too well pampered if cannot even tahan the heat.    o_O

Don't say like that.

iPhone4's design is a marvel in enginnering. If not because of iOS, I would want it if it runs Android. But might lag la cause single core one. laugh.gif

Bros, chill la, don't fight. We all love our GNex. wub.gif

Can't avoid comparisons. It's just human nature to do it, right? So just accept it with an open mind.

Got my BLN blinking green when WhatsApp messages came in. I feel so happy, finally a phone with BLN, a multi coloured one.

What would it be like if I got other apps that utilises the BLN as well? Blinks like disco lights? laugh.gif

Not the softkeys, the BLN LED, bottom most of the screen.

It looks beautiful, like Picasa logo. blush.gif

Do the disco lights or set the colour?

Colour is depending on the app. So far only WhatsApp has the colour setting. The rest, programmer very lazy, ahahahaa. tongue.gif

My LED notification do change color without me setting anything.. Maybe coz of AOKP ROM.

Whatsapp - green
Facebook - blue
Yahoo Mail - Purple

others - White
*
Oh ya, FB is blue by default.

I wanna set others also, but no such option in the app. Viber should be purple! biggrin.gif

I thought we can do this using lightflow? This colour is achievable when you change to white colour in settings.
*
Lightflow need to pay. Lightflow will be rendered obsolute if I flash to CM9 ROM later. Hence I didn't buy it right now. blush.gif

i was thinking the same..plus light flow can control even more application...with the controllable flashing frequency as well...

im using this to determine what notification is awaiting me to check and quite satisfy with it rclxms.gif

Damn! Poison!

I have checked, BLN requires kernel that support BLN feature. So the question is, which kernel support this.?

P/S: At first I thought BLN (back light) change the softkeys colour, that I figure out it change the LED colour.. sleep.gif Better use Light Flow..
*
The BLN kernel only applies to phones that doesn't come with the BLN LED. It's a hack way of making the hardware button lit via the kernel hack, hence they need the specific kernel.

BLN LED comes with GNex as a whole package, so the stock kernel will do.

I hope I'm right. smile.gif

i am going to get gnex soon, previous experience of using nexus s the only thing i complaint was there is no smart dialing..or i didnt explorer properly.... may i know is this model comes with smart dialing?
*
Nope. It's the copyright thing with T9 dictionary. So AOSP from Google will never have it. Get CM9 or other AOSP custom ROMs instead.

Try Visidon AppLock(er). Not sure if it supports ICS yet. I used it on HC before, with Face Unlock per apps. laugh.gif

it's a bug that I've encountered a few times too. The easiest way to solve this is to launch the camera app, otherwise would require a reboot.
*
It was in fact caused by camera app. Have you reported it?

its caused by random event for me, I can't find the root cause but I'd say its not the camera. I've encountered this about 3 times so far.

Nope didn't report it, I rarely report bugs. Have you?
*
Alright, it was indeed quite random. Can't simulate it again.

Will simulate again with Talk and report back.

EDIT: yeah, quote random. My speculation would be, if you have an app that hides the soft buttons then had the screen locked. Then you access to app via the notification, the newer app was not able to refresh the 3 soft buttons, hence leaving them in "hidden" state. Just some glitch in refreshing, I guess. hmm.gif
