QUOTE(AlphaBeta @ Mar 5 2012, 02:52 AM) I really really want to try Google Wallet, but im not sure whether Australia has this NFC capable card swipe device thing or not. Dont want to embarrass myself in front of the cashier lol. Google only supports MasterCard PayPass at the moment. Look around, we have both PayPass and Visa Wave terminals, Australia can't be behind Malaysia. |

QUOTE(djlah @ Mar 6 2012, 11:33 AM) google it, to compare the different between it's competitors. you will found it's so interesting on others while tegra is boring. of course everyone hope to get the soc can last more longer as possible. I will not get prime TF201 personally if I need a tablet, because some issue on signal; that's why Asus come out quickly with improve model called: Asus Transformer Infinity 700 HD tablet, fully resolved GPS and Wi-Fi performance issue on prime. main root cause, the back cover, chassis design issue I guess. Second, the price also high with docking. this is understandable when demand from market is not high as top tablet volume shipment like ipad. I believe next coming all 7" tablet will having better price tag than bigger size tablet. now, all vendor are preparing to launch with great price as possible. It's because of the full aluminium back plate, which is the natural nemesis to wireless signals. |

QUOTE(djlah @ Mar 6 2012, 02:38 PM) Looks more like pudding to me. Added on March 6, 2012, 2:49 pm QUOTE(droid13579 @ Mar 6 2012, 11:55 AM) Not to forget the iPad also have aluminium back place, however their plastic apple icon makes WiFi signal 0 issues. Well, you just said it. The black plastic Apple logo isn't there just for aesthetic purpose. Aside from that, iPad 3G varian has the black plastic bar on the top to accommodate for the 3G antenna. How come Asus never saw this coming? Added on March 6, 2012, 2:51 pm QUOTE(Lazyboy @ Mar 6 2012, 01:06 PM) I am not sure what the fuss is all about with regards to the Prime. I have a Gnote, Gnex and a Prime. My Prime can latch on to a weak wifi signal from my router better than my Gnote and on par if not a little better than GNex. How about comparing Prime against Tab 10.1? At least they are in the same league.I just tested GPS via Google Map indoor in my apartment work room with no direct line of sight to the window or outdoor. it locked on to my location in about 5-6 secs after Google Map completed loading and can see map on the screen. Sorry to digress. I find Sammy's handset's wireless peripherals quite weak. This post has been edited by Harddisk: Mar 6 2012, 02:51 PM |

My Android keyboard response is a bit laggy at times.
Previously, I read about the side effects of battery mod, which would cause the phone to lag. I have did this mod. So I dunno if the lag on keyboard was coincidental or due to some other reason. |

QUOTE(DarkSilver @ Mar 7 2012, 11:11 AM) I know. LOL. Imagine this... if Apple changed its name to Fapple. But for consumers or normal people, it's not really important or have much of a big impact. Aside from that, Google Market has 4 syllables, while Google Play has only 3. But still can't beat AppStore, which is 2. This post has been edited by Harddisk: Mar 7 2012, 11:47 AM |
