Yes, their room still available. Pls send them an email. You can keep your luggage when you go to Jeju. We did that too. The storage is in Namsan 3 which is next to Namsan 2. Be prepare on their tiny little room. Even triple sharing room is tiny. Left small space for our luggage and to move around.

We went to Namsan Tower on 24/04/12 evening and they were boy band performed infront of the tower but I dunno what band. A lot of festival giving out free gift and goodies such as Nature Republic, cosmetic etc. We also gets a lot of freebies cosmetics. Heheeheheh!!! The boy band passed infront of us and all the teenagers mostly girls screaming and chasing after the boys but we just stand there and looking confused. Actually we didn't the boys are boy band laugh.gif

Yesterday while in Suwon visiting Suwon Fortress, we saw drama shooting but we couldn't go near to the artist. I managed to take pictures from a far. They shoot Saeguk drama in the palace. The actor is from Heart String drama. The 2nd lead actor. Dunno what his name.

On the second day, we will take flight to Jeju island for 3D2N and most probably keep our luggage in their storage and re-check in when back from Jeju island to Seoul until the last day.

We are looking for 2 rooms for 5 peoples which is 3pax/room+ 2pax/room smile.gif

Thank in advance your helping smile.gif

In a way yes you are right. But my sisters and I bought baju/top/blouse at the very good price. You just have to do some homework. I bought top for KRW5000 in Ehwa University area. My sister bought blouses for KRW25000 in Myeongdong area. The same top and blouse will cost us not less than RM100 because the top and blouse can only be found in boutique in Malaysia. tongue.gif

I also bought Tommy Hilfiger, Hugo Boss and CK perfume. Way cheaper than in Malaysia.

Ehwa University & Hongik University area full of students. Most of the stuff they sell slightly lower than other area. Some stuff are made by the student itself. Creative art student probably. That's why the price is cheaper.

Yes, quality is ok. I didn't see much of China made stuff here in Korea. Clothing, shoes, accessories are made in korea label.

i think Namsan 3 Guesthouse has recently increased the room rate... if not mistaken couple of months ago i saw it was around RM140 after conversion..
but now becomes 60,000Won, roughly RM180 per night...

RM180 for a guesthouse I think quite expensive though....

When you say tiny little room, are you referring to Namsan 3 or Namsan 2?

Namsan 2. I stayed in room 102 and 210. For 3 people in room 102, is too tiny. 04 people in room 210 just nicely fit people and luggage. When they gave us room 102 for 04 people I flipped. There were not space for us and luggage. I asked if they want one of us sleep in the toilet? I was very adamant and flatly refused room 102 for 4 people and finally they gave in. Gave us room 210.

They should have mentioned in their website that room 102 is too cramp for an extra bed. For people outside from the travel industry they maybe have no idea about this but I am in the travel industry since 1995 so I know anything about hotel, guesthouse or motel policy. Normally when the room is too cramp for an extra bed, it will appear in their room rates room policy as no extra bed are allowed due to space constraint. But nothing was mentioned in their website.

Added on April 29, 2012, 10:41 amYes, the room increased were mentioned in their website. Just read it through. For hotels/guesthouse/motel or any accommodation, it is normal to increase rates on yearly basis. In Malaysia, hotel rates start from 1 April this year and on 31 March next year. So the following year 1 April, room rates will increase between 10-30% depending on the hotel.

Added on April 29, 2012, 10:45 amI will choose to stay another hotel if I am in Seoul again. The guesthous and people are ok but location is totally out. No doubt they are in Myeongdong but if you guys take airport limousine bus from Incheon to Myeongdong, you basically have to drag your luggage about 7 minutes walk from Sejong hotel (airport limo bus stop infront of this hotel in Myeongdong) to Myeongdong subway then drag it down to the subway underground walk way to cross the street. After that drag it up again to the otherside of the road and drag your luggage uphill to Namsan Guesthouse about 7 minutes from the main road where you exit. When I found out about this, I booked for pick up which cost us KRW60,000 and split it among ourselves.
