imho in terms of history gyeongju is like the best you can get in whole korean peninsula

If you dunno how to ski, better do it like what I did..go there for FREE. Now even got MRT right till the entrance of the ski resort near Nami Island liao..There probably a free shuttle bus to the resort and just play abit of snow & snap photos can liao..Furthermore, can kill 2 birds wth a stone- bcos ypu can do Nami island in the Morning and afternoon go to the ski resort just to play snow for free haha

Gapyeong conventional railway station to Nami island also around that distance..taxi rate ~ 3500won nia..less than RM10 haha..But lucky this time that MRT line goes all the way to Elysian ski resort. Last time, I took another taxi to Elysian ski resort..My heart keep on pumping seeing the meter increasing liek no tomorrow..I think I paid ~ RM50 for the taxi from Nami Island to Elysian ski resort Darmit

No need to buy also can.. The hotel I stayed (Namsan Park) already having >100 channels got few channels after midnite showing sam kap DRAMAS liao..1st time seeing sam kap dramas!! yeah got n_n-n_n for sure haha

but you wont find it easily because need read guide hahaahhaaa...so still consider safe ><

Im going to SKorea next week.
Im using MAS, but isit true that MAS flight to korea is really bad?(no TV at seat,bad food, etc)..

hm? i never had any bad food with MAS before

but if the flight is joint venture between MAS and korean airline then pls expect beer smell everywhere hahaha

its in kangwon-do so its quite near. but it will still take around 3-4 hrs to reach there

if you look on the map its very near but since kangwon-do's mountainous nature, getting there is not easy

the easiest way is by car of cos. if you go by bus, you need to take it at dong seoul bus terminal (dong = east), NOT from kosok or nambu bus terminal. go to jeongseon (around 15k ~ 17k). the bus is every 1 hr or so

in jeongseon bus terminal, take another bus to yeoryang. and then another bus to the platform. it may sound like a hassle, but the transportation system is very efficient

remember to board the earliest bus in the morning so that you can reach there on the afternoon, eat some ramyeon/udong and pedal the 1pm train. it's easy to pedal alone since all going downhill, but better you have someone besides you so that the other person can snap snap snap pictures

think the correct terms should be hilly highways? 

Myeongdong got lots of outlets,damn many ppl also..much prettier (got a lot of signboard.lol) in my opinion..whereas for Namdaemun,more like a huge pasar malam,price quite ok..lots of ppl also..can get some souvenir,slightly negotiable..

Dongdaemun go for the Migliore? instead of Doota..Doota all high end stuff one.. Migliore got 7-8 story all selling cheap affordable cloths..pengsan see so many cloths.lol
another street along Miss Lee Cafe? that one pricy,window shopping ok lah..

probably Migliore @ Dongdaemun area..the building juz beside Doota..thats wad i think lah..hv to see wad season too leh..if winter everyone selling winter cloths.lol..

see which place other forumer recommend,mayb i miss out somewher better to shop for cloths.
