It surprise me, when I was in Mongkok about a month ago, Ladies Street, suddenly a girl (definitely tourist) shout out in Cantonese, her wallet is stolen from the backpack behind her. The zip was open.
She was with her partner, and she sounds more like Malaysian.

Anyway, the lesson is, if you carry anything valuables, anywhere in the world, carry it in front of your chest, rather than at the back.

Or leave the valuable things in the hotel safe box and only carry necessary things. Unless hotel room don't have safe box then no choice have to carry as mentioned by cute_boboi smile.gif

Those drawer size (with keypad) safe, are not really safe. Do you know the hotel has a master key to open all the safes ?
Also, I recall it runs on batteries (AA/AAA), and there is a button/something at the back, try check it out.

Unless it is an international 4/5 star hotel, I won't use the safe at all.

Also, when travel, please clear out your thick 2-3" wallet. You don't need to bring Jusco, Watson, Bonuslink, etc. cards.
Also, clear out those ATM/credit cards and maybe even driving license if you don't plan to use those.
Only bring 1-2 CC that you will use and keep separately.

I stay in Hotel Sintra Macau... Another famous one is Ole London... Macau is quite small, this two hotel is convenient...

In HK, I choose Caritas Bianchi Lodge, Yau Matei... Is very near to Temple Street and 5 minutes walk to MTR...

You can search your room in this site as it will show you prices from major sites like agoda, booking, lateroom etc.

You can check with the hotel... normally most of the hotel allow you to keep the luggage for short period...

most of d hotel dun allowed u to squeeze in. unless u pay extra for the xtra bed. bear in mind tat tis is HK n their size of d room is very small n limited space. unless u willing to pay more n stay in a better hotel where their room size is bigger else dun bother to add in any extra bed as even 2 ppl in d room u dy feel cramp..

It's summer time...will be hot. wear short pants and t-shirt will do. summer sales will be going on too at that time. so u will get to buy clothes that are suitable for Malaysian.
