hmmm do u believe everything u see on the internet? =.=

unless there's a substantial solid support of a fact, please dun try to pull facts out from ur rear hole mate
*
its not unreasonable
mitsu has been exchanging things with proton with conditions
like the previous 4AT proton uses...mitsu never allowed proton to adjust the gear ratios which result in alot of problem
and at the end..proton jump to CVT

QUOTE(smwah @ Feb 26 2012, 10:06 AM)
the rear a bit disappointed, it looks too geometric, look like inspira rear as well. The tail light also similar like flx. If there can make more round, then it would be nice. The front looks ok, looks like the chevelot cruz, if add some kit sure garang.
Again the tail light just too small and too short.
Engine looks like one of the best proton produced interm of matching with those imported car. It looks like a mix of local and continental taste. Important is still the handling and engine efficiency. Handling wise nothing much to complain since many ppl had gave good rate for car like persona and flx. As for engine, it is an upgrade from so called old engine campro, with improvement of cvt. I would said now it is only comparable with viow and city entry. Like persona or blm time, the engine already loose and also fc. With new engine and gear, it looks like proton is back in competing.
Price still bit high for premium, 75K is lik much higher than waya last time. Make it 70k would be good. For entry 60k will do the trick.
*
well..last time persona and blm..the engine no problem
they're even using it on this car...lower variant of course but the improved one which is IAFM+
the problem be4 is the GB itself that causes underpower and high FC
switching to CVT is the answer

i wanna ask a question, say iam an existing YES user, if i buy P321A,do i need to apply again?

dn't think so
its just a modem only...they only supply the modem...not an account/line
same as streamyx...if u move,u just move the line...everything is unchanged

QUOTE(kadajawi @ Mar 1 2012, 09:26 PM)
Btw. (a bit off topic), the Saga did 3 stars in ANCAP, the Exora is said to get 4, right? Well, I've just found the results of the Toyota Avanza. C-NCAP tested it... 3 stars. http://www.c-ncap.org.cn/app/cncap/pzsj.jsp?pzid=2306 And that is C-NCAP, which tests at 56 km/h only (instead of 64), and which is generally less strict. The Lotus L3 (Proton Gen-2) also got 3 stars. 3 stars is what Chinese cars get, good ones from China get 4 or 5.

The P3-21A can only do better than that.
*
china ncap is kinda easy to get star
china car..they only copy the design/exterior..they never copy whats inside = engine, chassis..etc etc
gen-2, waja..all pass car...not very sure what material their body are made of
newer gen proton car starting from saga, exora and this p3-21a all using HTS for body
and since this p3-21a is equipped with so many features...abs, ebd, esp, etc etc....with 4-6 airbags
5 stars is easily reached

QUOTE(kadajawi @ Mar 1 2012, 10:10 PM)
Yeah, still the Avanza only got 3 stars. laugh.gif I doubt Toyota has modified it throughoutly for the facelift, otherwise they should have advertised it.

People need to get off that thinking that Proton for sure must be milo tin... they should bring the car to Europe, just to make EuroNCAP test it. And sell it exactly same spec there as here. Then advertise that (and stress that EuroNCAP picks a random car, so no specially prepared one).

The Lotus L3 should be a regular Gen-2, huh? They just changed the name cause Lotus sounds better than Proton. No copy.

And 2 Chinese cars have recently received 4 stars in EuroNCAP. Not too bad for a copy... I think some Chinese manufacturers are working hard on creating more unique cars, that are actually decent. Of course they aren't as cheap as those created in some shed... but just look at handphones. Of course there are hundreds of crappy iPhone fakes etc. from Shenzen, but there is also Meizu and Xiaomi (besides Lenovo, Huawei, ZTE who make legit phones), and both the Meizu and Xiaomi phones seem to be pretty good and high end, using high quality components. Of course they come at a price though, but still cheaper than the established companies. Korean manufacturers (cars and consumer electronics) have went through the same process, and now produce rather decent cars and devices.
*
cuz it was influenced last time during TM's era that it is using milo tin...very weak
since saga...all changed to using HTS....can see from the weight as well...its not what ppl call light
but 140KM/H on highway is like no feeling at all
i think if they keep producing cars like these....ppl's view toward proton will change...providing DSZ is still CEO and TM dn't mcm2 sana
what proton left now is the engine only...ppl are waiting for a alittle bit more reliable car = timing chain

not sure abt the lotus L3 though...i think its a rebadge
many is still copy exterior only...like those in top gear...outlook very nice, look like camry
but since inside...ride is bumpy as hell(not very well structured)..i think if crush it,its a done deal as well
china market, very easy.....big car, lots of space inside, well equipped interior/nice interior and most important...CHEAP...thn it will sell
they dn't care abt safety features(which will make it more expensive)

Even if he really kenot tahan, takkan he say so meh.

I guess only he knows the real reason behind it. Europe has another carmaker that is more challenging to manage than proton in terms of QC?? tongue.gif
*
i would say his reason is reasonable
if not...why he work like 20+ years in BMW
plus come here...weather and food not same...tak tahan i think
for a worker..its all abt $$$...as long high pay..anything is possible and he is specially hired by proton so for sure high pay
so i think salary isn't a reason

Might not have to do with salary also ma. Maybe kenot tahan the politics in proton.

But anyway, lets not speculate. I really hope whoever replaces him will be just as good or better.
*
probably but now proton under DRB already ma
i better hope that proton learn something from him and continue his practice thn good already
replacement should be good as well...dn't appoint those ppl that dn't even know anything abt car

Sorry to say that wat do u think of a company who can't even solve problem like door handle n power window? It took multiple years to address just the issue like this...
*
it doesn't took multiple years
it just took 1 month
they just simply change the supplier...thats all
the old management proton keep getting from those "so called crony" company...thats why

and am very skeptical with the news....its typed in chinese...it doesn't sound like proton engineer

no chinese working as engineers in proton ?  hmm.gif
*
i think less
even have also can be counted by hand...its only a handful
and if he leaks this..thn proton can easily know who leak it
and he will eventually get fired
so very skeptical true or not

QUOTE(BuFung @ Mar 3 2012, 10:50 PM)
From the thread, he said himself from 1 of the supplier...  Sound pretty trust worthy and he didn't talk non sense there At least....
*
supplier
but "工程师" = engineers....he multi position?
hahaha
need the truth....go test drive when launch and wait review from paultan...thn u can 100% sure want to book 1 or not
i guess it will have a few glitches...same like mine when i got my saga BLM like carpet not long enough
all small problem and nothing can't be solved via warranty...even if u buy "perfect" one...i think u still need to go SC for a few "sound" inquiries(cuz we're too new to those tech)
i think most major part like those esp will not have problem if they get the RIGHT brand from the RIGHT supplier...after that its just a matter of assembling it only
even if the part is faulty...its the manufacturer's fault also cuz proton doesn't produce(but for sure ppl will blame proton)
but still..nothing cannot be solve via that 3-5 years warranty
