QUOTE(mat79 @ Mar 10 2012, 08:59 AM)
about the delay, read the news properly. Businesstimes mentioned one of the sources, not prtn n prtn never announce that. Check other news on the denial bu dsz coz prtn never ever issue any official info regarding the delays, some parties seems doing some things overhere, like the info from flyingspaghettimonster from i dunno who prtn engineer.

About start stop button fonts, is that really an issue? For me the most important part is being readable. Thats all. Standard font. Maybe the shud used caligraphy fonts, so,it will be wonderful, rite :-). Just joking.

Ok, i did mentioned p3 will be there, n the name start with p :-). So, check it out especially on weakness n flow. (this is common coz malaysian dont really like the positive things, they like to search on negative first, then maybe positive,if they want to, but never bother, not another way around. Ha...ha...

for mareshian...it matters...lol
the whole car matters..hahaha
they would like italic font and glow in the dark
actually for me...as long as its durable and as long it doesn't fail like forte's one...thn its good already

RM60K-70K is a good price for car the car segmentl....if you need more, modify the car after you bought..... you want to make it super turbo also no problem....

What we expect..is the quality of the car only.....and also hope protong guy can handle the problem after sales...
*
this car, saga, exora
u can mod the exterior and interior like no business
but u can't do performance mod
cuz they're using CVT that specifically match the torque number of the engine
they even limited the torque of the engine to put in the VT3 CVT gearbox

Yep, that's one of my grudges with the CVT. Got money to mod also no use, unless you replace the GB.
*
ya....performance is kinda max already
i think not as easy as change GB...need to change alot more
and the GB ain't cheap

QUOTE(Notoriez @ Mar 10 2012, 01:04 PM)
Hopefully got manual tranny for this car..

CVT really suxx and tends to overheat even with bigger aftermarket oil cooler once you mod the engine + hard driving doh.gif

Only good for fuel economy and comfort driving..
*
proton's CVT have their own standalone cooler for CVT...no need to mod aftermarket
and u can't mod the engine
manual tranny need to wait launch and see have or not
either they're not releasing one or they're still searching or maybe they got it

QUOTE(Eiraku @ Mar 10 2012, 12:58 PM)
Specifically match I wouldn't say. But it has a limited range it can support. 2.0 Inspilala has the same problem, as most other CVT cars.

If you wanna mod so much get 1.8M Inspilala la, can put Turbo no problem. Price near the top line P3 too.

As for myself, I ended up with the 2.0CVT bcoz couldn't wait for the P3-21A to launch, but delivery is SOOOOO slow the P3 might start shipping out first lol.
*
yes...it has a range
but exora bold's torque is quite near the limits of the GB already
going nearer will shorten the lifespan of the GB
thats why they limit the torque
but if proton uses inspira's CVT...thn they can unleash full torque
but it might stress the turbocharger(am noob abt this so not so sure)

QUOTE(ruffstuff @ Mar 12 2012, 10:44 PM)
Proton 3-21A- Arriving Soon

Analysts were given opportunity to testdrive Proton's P3-21A 1.6L or better known as Persona Replacement model We were impressed by P3-21A performances, showing great improvements ascompared to previous Proton's model.

Great efforts were being put into thesafety features of P3-21A in meeting ECE safety requirements.
P3-21A is targeted towards medium to highincome group.

The development cost of P3-21A is relatively low atRM300m for it uses the existing platform and engine from Exora. Hence, weexpect the car to garner higher margins.

i see many problems with this article
1. analyst?...what analyst?...
2. "better known as persona replacement?...proton already say its NOT a persona replacement
3. "targeting medium to high income group"?....waja/inspira/perdana is the one targetting high income group...proton never target high income group yet...more to low-medium income group

is it just me when comparing to kia forte this car look more nicer lol
*
i dn't know why
but actually black isn't easy to get dirty one...for last time paint
i dn't know what paint car manufacturer use nowadays but nowadays what colour u choose also get dirty fast
and am not just talking abt proton...T, H, ford..etc etc all their car..all easy to get dirty regardless of what colour
i dn't know is the paint problem or environment problem

Why got push start but still need to insert key. Isn't it like more steps to start the car. Like the chinese saying 'Chui Fu Fong Pei'  hmm.gif
*
cuz mareshian are used to key
suddenly no key thn some owner will complain they lost their key or dunno where they misplace it
or it maybe just an additional security....u need key, immobilizer thn only can push start to on the engine
