I think you need to do a full wipe before you flash back GB base roms. I might be wrong though :-)

hi... im a sgs2 user for almost half a year and during that duration i've already sent my phone to Samsung to repair for about 4 times due to

1: no network connection (sent in three times)
2: screen blacked out

when everything is finally working out fine for almost 2 months my phone is having some problem again.
i dint root it or downloaded any things outside of the android market.
so the current problem now im having is

1: the samsung kies thingy kept on pop up even when i dint connect it to a pc
2: delay when plugging in my phone to a charge for it to charge. means that when i plug in the charger it wont start charging immediately
3: the 'battery fully charged.Unplug charger' thing wont disappear on top of my screen
4: and when i tried to check my battery using the *#*# thing it says that battery health is over voltage..

can anyone tell me is there any other way i can get my phone back to its normal status without having to send in to the factory again? cuz they take a shit whole lot of times to fix it.. i've already tried to reformat my phone and even factory reset everything but the problem is still there..

my sis is using a sgs2 also but she dint face the same problem as i did..
is there anyway i can call samsung to replace my old phone to a new one ? cause i've heard that maxis is providing a 1 - 1 change for iphone users . is that applicable for sgs2 too ?

help is appreciated.. thanks

Bro, I would suggest you to download another music player from market and try playing the song. If you are able to play it without any problem, then the stock player might been corrupted or suggest you to reflash the ROM again
*
Downloaded double twist, songs no more skipping.

Should I reflash rom or just leave it n use other music player?

The first 3 sounds like usb port issue. Try cleaning it. No .4 maybe batt problem like others have said. Test with other batt and see.

Not speaking on behalf Uncle Benny or fallenangelz but my GNex still on stock roms. No root or custom roms. Pure vanilla ICS 4.0.2 and like i said before it's sluggish and the volume sound an old sick grandma. Too damn slow even with Volume + app installed. Maybe things will improve when receive upcoming updates. Who knows.?
Or maybe root it and put custom kernel/roms will improve this things but as Uncle Benny and fallenangelz said, their phone also quite sluggish. Or is it because all of us had used the blazing fast SGSII before so we find GNex with ICS is a little letdown.
*
Hmm substantially sluggish? Didn't play with my friend's one alot, but although I wasn't particularly impressed with the whole rave about revolution of smoothness, I didn't seem to notice it was sluggish.

wave, by sluggish, are we talking speed or smoothness?

But could be because ICS is freshly baked, while on S2 we're used to <insert rom here> + siyah/redpill + thunderbolt laugh.gif

But yeah, the whole online reviews about it being a major step forward in terms of smoothness, I can't particularly agree with that. And speed wise, I feel S2 is alot faster.

Huh, I thought the W was a popular and good mid-range phone? Never thought it would have problems like that.
