QUOTE(Wira_lover @ Feb 13 2012, 02:59 PM) will follow bro I900G guide ..thanks bro Hi,so most of u guys don install antivirus, so you dont know for sure u have a virus/malware etc? or it doesnt matter cause you dont do anything important on the phone like internet banking? I'm using Avast! Mobile Security. Free from the Market. You can install it for the peace of mind, after all, it doesn't take up much resources....the best thing I like is the Anti-theft feature. If your phone is rooted, the Anti-theft feature is very good... It can silently delete all your personal data, lock the phone, stop the USB port so that the thief cannot flash another ROM, send a siren with loud voice "this phone has been reported as lost or stolen"..., and even if the thief take out your Sim card, the siren will come on....it will only stop until you key in your password.....or if the thief forever take out the battery and not use the phone at all... Your phone might be gone but at least the thief cannot use or sell it off...padan muka |

QUOTE(MYstombox @ Feb 13 2012, 03:54 PM) The anti-theft feature is built into the phone already without the need to install avast. The Avast! has a lot more feature. You can assign 1 to 2 of your friend's number...then from your friends number, they can send SMS remotely to activate various commands...Under setting-> location and security -> Remote control / Alert message recipients and SIM change alert. But i doubt got alarm. lol If the thief change sim card, a sms will be sent to your assigned friends that new number! You can call the thief and talk to him! |

QUOTE(MYstombox @ Feb 13 2012, 04:07 PM) But this is only if the thief doesn't know how to flash the phone. You can deactivate the USB..so cannot flash with Odin. If the thief sells it to some mobile shop with someone who knows how to tinker, then the phone also as good as gone. You can also prevent the user to access System Settings, Programme manager etc...the best is once you Lock the phone, he cannot use the phone, hence cannot use CWM to flash also.... Yes, once the phone is lost it is consider gone.....but at least you can wipe all your personal data, contacts etc...and then Lock the phone and activate Siren non stop so that the thief cannot use the phone. You can also force the Data and GPS to be switch on if you want to detect the location of the phone, ie the thief...i think the thief only solution is to take out the battery....but the phone is useless to him now. |

QUOTE(aiman39 @ Feb 13 2012, 05:52 PM) Hey guys, I have the same issue you are facing now. I need the Pattern Unlock to prevent stranger from accessing my phone but by using pattern unlock, I cannot use all the jKay unlock features...sighDo you have a way of locking a phone if you a currently using JKAY with AOSP DELUXE settings. Scenario: I have 6 panels to access the phone (EG: Messaging, WhatsApp, Calander, PHone, Camera, FlashLights & Unlock). If i were to use default lock settings (EG:pattern or password) then the JKAY AOSP Deluxe will be useless. Do guys have a way for that? Thank you in advance. |

Hi,
I have not used an external battery pack before, so need some advice from you guys. If I buy something like Yoobao YB-602 External Battery 4800mah , exactly how does it work? 1) When I plug in the SGS2 to this 4800mah External Battery, does it charge the SGS2 internal 1650mah battery inside so that I can unplug it later and use the SGS2? or 2) I need to constantly keep the 4800mah battery plugged to my SGS2 to use it...like that very "mah fan" to have a heavy hanging battery tagging alone... Thanks |

Asking for opinions...
For External Battery Powerbanks like Yoobao, will you get a 4800maH or 11200maH? I wonder if the original 1650maH plus Powerbank 4800maH can last for 12-15 hours heavy usage? Anyone uses Powerbanks, care to advise is it necessary to go 11200mah or 4400 or 4800mah is sufficient? Thanks |

QUOTE(MYstombox @ Feb 16 2012, 02:22 PM) Get the one that size fits you the best la. Ahdoi. Actually what I'm keen to find out is the effectiveness of these Powerbanks in charging our SGS2...TBH, if u don't mind carrying around something the size of a briefcase, someone's gonna recommend you a 5kAh battery. For example, if I have a 4400maH Yoobao, does it mean that I can charge our SGS2 1650 mah (from zero to 100%) two times...ie 1650 x 2 = 3300maH... still less than 4400mah. Does it work like that? Or a fully charged 4400maH Yoobao will never be able to charge our SGS2 1650mah from 0% to 100%? Thanks for any advice from those who have experience with these Powerbanks... |

QUOTE(n8210 @ Feb 17 2012, 09:28 AM) I downloaded 3G watchdog, and my question is my bill statement date is every 21st of each month, but in the setting I cannot put a date in the future. 3G watchdog won't let me save. Just wait a few more days to turn it on? You should put the date when it last started...example, in your case, put 20th Jan as your last start date....then every month it will refresh on the 21st... |
