I have a little question to ask, for games like Raging Thunder 2, the game is in landscape and the control is by turning the phone right?

But the problem is i cannot drive and turn it properly, if i wanna play it properly, my phone controller hav to be portrait, but the game is in landscape too mode

Every other racing games also behaving like this.. but i saw my frend's phone can play properly without any problem.

Do i need to setting anything or is this the phone's problem?

Opinions are much appreciated

Yesterday I bought SGS2 a used i9100G from a person who claims himself a phone trader (mudah.my). He claims a customer sold this phone 3 days only after buying it, selling reason is to buy SGNote. He claimed that the customer didnt provide receipt nor proof of purchase from phone dealer.

He managed to go online & show me the Samsung official web registration, which the serial number is true and original from SME. The web page mentions the phone is registered on 15 Feb 2012 and warranty lasts one year until 14 Feb 2013.

The phone is 3 days old, yet it doesnt look new. The back plastic and side is scratched, looked like its used for months. I'm baffled. Do SME provide exactly 1 year warranty?

I've checked using *#*#4636#*#* to check the usage status, it indicates the applications (Gallery TwLauncher) are used less than 10 times (low usage). Is there anything else I can check to verify that the phone is just 3 days old?

Maybe he hard reset the phone to remove all data?
Have I been conned?

I have also encountered an ap set SG2 but the speaker, the home button, the battery, the phone's weight all seem different from original SG2. I believe some traders/store changed the spare parts.

But for those still with warranty, maybe a bit hard to change anything because of the sticker at the back.

solving echo problem...

after have to live with echo problem for six month and have to press noise reduction button every time if wanna call someone, already sent phone to samsung sc and they change phone microphone but the problem came back after few weeks, hopefully this will permanently fix it.

already tried call my friend who always complain my phone got echo, he said now conversation is loud and clear

It feels lighter. The home button is not at par with the surface, it drops down a little and not as sensitive, like have to press and hold, which then often brings up the Task Manager instead, which is very annoying. From which country, I don't know. Just came across it when we were trying to exchange widgets/apps suggestion. Otherwise, we seldom hold other ppl's phone.

If I am not mistake there is a secret code that tells you how long did the phone used the battery, meaning like when I bought my S2, the seller showed me it was brand new by pressing in a code, and it stated 0% usage of battery, meaning the phone had never been switched on before, until when he showed me then the timer had started, I don't think hard reset would change it, it's quite a fail proof way...

oh ya, is there anyway to check the galaxy s2 touch screen response rate? i am experiencing response delays in some games such as fruit ninja, ninja jump and some games that have game pads on screen.

Are you using G version??
The only time the Fruit Ninja lags on my S2 is when I play Fruit Ninja THD and only when swiping the new game button it lags, when playing it no lags at all..
Maybe if you are rooted you could try increasing the cpu speed or maybe put to performance instead of on demand, that helped me remove any observable lag on my S2 ..

Any solution to reduce the usage of Android OS in I9100G?
