Roms for non g is way too many, I'm sure users can choose which one they want on the xda page

I was just wondering, I just bought the connector as shown, but when I tried to plug in the thumbdrive and then the other side is the micro USB cable to the S2, It cannot work..

Does it mean that only USB OTG can work??

i'm so curious bout nokia, y their hardware falls so behind and yet they still refuse to follow the trend? its 2012 already and they still using single core and 512mb ram. well i know dual core is yet to be utilized but still we know that single core will be very limited in near future,

There are fake S2s on the market. but from pictures the quality is atrocious and the pricing is very low as well. So if someone buys that thinking its an S2 its just.. lol

Hi all sorry if this question been asked or double posted because I just got a SGS2 for my gf  two days ago and been experiencing follow problem:

When connected to wifi and do surfing or downloading apps from market phone will shutoff itself. There has been 3 incidents already and all is with wifi connected hence i deduce that's the problem. (note: not much other apps installed because it's a fairly new unit, 2 days old? :/)

Have anyone been experiencing this issue b4?

Nope no pirated apps at all .. coz like I said fairly new phone .. only manage to install 3g watchdog free and that's also when the 2nd time shut off happens (half way downloading) :/

Hi... i received a notification fr Kies to upgrade my S2 to PDA:KL3/PHONE:KL3/CSC:KL3.

Anyone using that firmware already? Any remarks? I'm trying to find some change logs but fail to find anything. Sorry ah.... newbie to Android world.

Hey I was wondering whether the casing for the s2 should be hard as metal or must it be soft as rubber bumper to ensure that the phone will not crack when it falls??

 

Yeah, that was what I was thinking as soft rubber will increase the time delay between the impact of the S2 and the ground, and since the force exerted by the ground on the s2 is inversely proportional to the time between impact, the force will be decrease since the time taken will be increased when using the rubber bumper..

Physics aside, but it still dawned on me why do people still sell aluminium casings with screws included if it is that ineffective to prevent cracks when the phone falls on the ground, one thing though it looks more stylish and shiny..

 

Today saw my school teacher using Galaxy Note, white in colour. Felt like borrowing it and try it out only. She some more keep showing it off, makes it more tempting 

Same here, totally agree with you. I would say the S2 size is perfect. Fits the hand very nicely. I tried out the HTC Sensation XE earlier today, must say that phone is a very well designed device too
