You might want to check but I believe you can only apply MyBrain after you have started the course probably many have abused the application by applying after receiving the offer letter.

OOO, then I have to wait until I have registered as UM student 1st. Then I don't need come all the long way to KL just to approve my Borang Pengesahan Maklumat Pemohom MyBrain. Btw,

1) Is Guru Bimbingan & Kaunseling under the Kumpulan Pengurusan dan Profesional (Gred 41 & ke atas)? Because my Pengetua Sekolah Menengah ask me to find Guru Bimbingan & Kaunseling to sah my documents. I have surf thru net lar~Guru Bimbingan & Kaunseling sepenuh masa SR & SM is under PPS DG 41. So is it relevant?

2) Can my common friend who knows me more than 3 years be my pengadil? This is because I'm unemployed before so I don't have colleagues know me more than 3 years la & my coursemates from USM degree are no longer around me anymore~

3) I can see there is the Perjanjian MyMaster downloadable from the MyBrain15 website, so can I download it and let my penjamin sign it first before I'm accepted by MyBrain? Or should I wait for MyBrain15 to approve my application first which at the same time they will provide me the Perjanjian MyMaster with my name and IC on it?

First, you have to check with them whether you can apply for MyBrain although you haven't started the course. This is acceptable last time but I'm not sure about now.

1. The person who certified your document has to be Gred 41 or above.

2. Yes, friends can be accepted if you are not working.

3. You only need to submit the Perjanjian after you received the MyBrain offer. If you want to get the signature and keep it first, that shouldn't be a problem.

And to your question about the Tempoh Pengajian, make sure that you put the Tempoh long enough to cover the RM10k scholarship. It would be a waste if you put only two years and let's say it's not even RM10k.

If they are under Gred 41, you shouldn't ask them to certify.

What I meant is Guru Bimbingan & Kaunseling sepenuh masa SR & SM is under PPS DG 41 (This is what on KPM website la). So this is relevant to the MyBRAIN requirements for pengesah documents (which must be Gred41 & above).

Then you better get someone else to certify your documents. You don't want your application to be rejected just because of this issue.

Or why not drive down to UM to get your documents certified by the appropriate officers. Treat it as a holiday and visit some interesting malls nearby

Just drove down last week~><~try to apply hostel inside....But the hostels admin there ...I think no hope for the in-campus hostel edy....After Raya probably will go down there to get my Borang Pengesahan signed...just leave few more months (2015) the MyBrain will be closed edy and judging with their working progress...the chances to get MyBrain scholar will drop....

Have you heard some ppl have their application rejected just because of tiny little bit blurred on the document files? Example like the cop sign of officer is blurred a bit...@@This is what my friend told me lar....she get rejected after 3 months the application process and need to resend the document...

Yes, I have heard many cases where their applications are rejected due to minor issues such as the certificates being uploaded is blur.

I asked my Menengah School edy, some teacher can certifiy MyBRAIN15, here's the following I know la:

Guru Bimbingan & Kaunseling Sepenuh Masa SR/SM : Gred 41 (some are Gred 44)
Guru Mata Pelajaran (GKM): Gred 48

Now leaving the Borang Pengesahan Maklumat Pemohon MyBRAIN 15, I heard some ppl let their borong sign at their registration date, because we gonna meet all those required ppl during that day.

Other questions to ask for the Borang Pengesahan Maklumat Pemohon MyBRAIN 15.
1) Do I need to fill it with CAPITAL LETTER?Or normal writing can edy?
2) If I'm unemployed (just graduate), what should I fill in "Nama Majikan Sekarang"? Tiada or -?

Since I applied after I registered, so the dates I used were after the registration date.

1. I filled with CAPITAL LETTERS for the sake of clarity.
2. Then you don't need to fill in. Should you put N/A or Tiada? I'm not sure which is the better convention

Just a quick question - there is a maximum of RM10,000 for MyMaster and currently I'm already on my second semester that means I have only around RM1100 left. The current fee for my masters degree is RM4200 per semester.

Is it possible for me to apply for an extension although the duration of my study has not yet expired, just so I can get funding for my third and (hopefully) final semester?

Also, I do not have PTPTN and I don't think I'll be able to apply it in time.

Any thoughts?

It has been around 6 months since I quit my job and I didn't receive any surat pengesahan berhenti kerja when I quit. and After quiting the job, I did work on my own as personal tutor. Should I put the company I worked before at the "Nama Bekas Majikan Terakhir" section or should I just put N/A since after quiting the job, I work on my own? If I put the company I worked before at the section, I don't even have the surat pengesahan berhenti kerja.... but I do have epf no and able to get the statement. What's the best way? Somebody, please answer this.
