My driver door started rattling/vibrating...I ignored it
Then came my left passenger's door......I ignored it as well
Yesterday I heard an even loud rattling sound from the compartment/glovebox area....Really got on my nerve

I went to KIA SC somewhere 9 in the morning. They took out the door panels put FOAM tape on the clips/joints, dismaltel half of my dashboard, put it back ant it was about 1pm

Took my car went 1 round with the SC guy..there was still noise from the dashboard, this time higher. He said they were going for lunch. I thought of bringing it back after lunch but thought that i might risk leaving my car there overnite because after lunch there will only be about 3hours for them to rectify it

I took my car home and OTW to work, everythings STARTS to rattle/vibrate again...WTH??

I will be going again tomorrow and get them to rectify this...DAMN

I changed my original car battery after using it for 1 year 9 months. My original battery is MF48-23GL. After some discussion with my trusted battery supplier, i ended up with the new maintenance free Century Marathoner 55D23L c/w 15 month warranty. Note that mine is Forte 2.0. I noticed that Forte 1.6 use different battery model/capacity.

Not to say what battery is good..but as long as u choose a branded/reputable one, u should be on the safe side provided that the battery capacity is matched (or higher) with the original battery

how to check what is 1.6 battery capacity ar??

is it true to use higher battery capacity will improve some power? icon_question.gif

Hmm, sounds familiar. They still haven't found a permanent solution to the rattling noise behind the dashboard.

My car has gone in twice to SC to fix the rattling noise and both times, the rattling noise came back after one day on the road. They was some improvement after the second visit as the rattling noise is more subdued compared to the first time but still audible when going over uneven road. The frequency of the rattling noise appearing is also less compared to last time but it is still there. Well....

The CSC promised to make another appointment for me to meet with the NAM team to rectify this. Still waiting for their call.

If on budget then get the EX. Promotion depends on the dealers around. Usually free stuff like bodykit, gps.... those things.

Resale not as good as japanese car, thats for sure. Naza forte/Kia forte = same thing. No difference.

Usually stated on top of the battery.

As far as i could remember, i cant notice any increase in power or whatsoever when i used the higher capacity battery. Maybe my spark plug going to kaput already..lol

for complex job like this better leave it at least 2-3 days... coz they also need to attend other cars too...
so if want u quick, sometime they just cincai2 je buat... better give them more time...
if i'm a technician, i'm also tension if someone pressure me...
unless there's 1 person specialist for rattling issues... keje lain dia tak buat...

Bosch wipers are rubbish. U want super good ones, use PIAA silicon wipers. Used them on my honda city back then and they lasted until now, almost 3 years without changing. Still wipes the screen clear and no squeaking sound.super good but they are quite pricey

Change all to 16" rims & tires..choose a lightweight one. Sure will give better acceleration & comfort. Potholes? No worries anymore.. whistling.gif
