i think i got problem with my gps.. i just realize that my lovely sgs manufactured on 2.6.2010 according to the batery.. i installed papago x5 on my sister hp.. she used SE Arc S.. when open papago, it just take 1 minute to lock.. compared to my sgs,it really make me sad..

any sifu can help how to solve my gps's prob?

i already do it and the gps can lock although it take times.. but,when it lock,the papago become lag.. sometimes it stop then search back.. it make me lost cause take wrong way.. huhu...

another question is i tried to play video on my sgs.. on GB,it works well.. but,on ICS, the video cannot be played..  i try so many video players, vlc,mx video player..it said unsopported android version..

exactly like urs. but instead of using cfroot to obtain cwm after odin JVU, i used semaphore instead lor..
weird problem. my phone got line if i uses 3g/hspda. but if i tick the 'only uses 2g' to save battery, my phone no line.

But, I was from Stock ROM, XXJVU to GamerzRom.
Do, I need to flash back to XXJVU 1st?

Before flashing, do I need to back up the whole tihng, just in case it doesn't work I restore everything back?
If so, what's the way to do it?

Can I just do a summary?
1. Flash ICS usinf CWM method
(Of course this include clean cache and etc lah)
2. Only then flash Semaphore_ICS_0.9.0.

This is what i did..
1) Flash Stock XXJVU [via odin]
2) Run phone & Turn it off back & went back to Download Mode
3) Flash CF-Root Kernel [via odin] (just to get CWM)
4) Run phone & reboot into CWM
5) Wipe data/factory reset [via cwm]
6) Wipe cache partition [via cwm]
7) Flash ICSSGS [via cwm]
8) Run phone & reboot into CWM
9) Flash Semaphore Kernel [via cwm]
10) Done..

It's just up to 720p for our camera. Hardware limited.

Yup, flashed all 3 devices to ICS. ICS, really... niceeeeee. Just that my Tab is not quite a tablet OS. It felt very much like phone. So I prefer Honeycomb's features overall. Oh, CM9 KANG on my Tab, doesn't show the battery % on the notification area and battery drain also higher (I set max clock at 1.4GHz la... )

can the contact punya back ground be black? =P heheh.. cuz.. whenever i browse through the contact list.. the background white colour tarak cun =D

i know.. i know.. i love black.. n i m particular about it. hahah

realized that MIUI Mintberry call volume is too loud for me... even after turning it down to the lowest point...

any further tweak can be made here?

The earlier ICS for GNote very tricky, if want to revert back to GB. There is a new ICS ROM for GNote just release yesterday/2 days ago. Didn't read it, not sure if it's convenient or not. Aside from that, it might render the S-Pen useless as well. See if your father really want to sacrifice the pen.

GTab 7 finally qualified as a tablet, with ICS. 

Is ICS for galaxy tab 7 really nice? My friend ask me to help his tab to ICS.
I already flash my father's xoom to ICS, very2 nice because before this honeycomb in xoom really lag.
