for those who keep asking about ICS battery life.. been with ICS for 3 days.. my battery life always more than 12 hours..

1st day - 14h
2nd day - 17h
3rd day - 9h (but still got 40% now)

usage - FB, whatsapp, browsing, game sometimes, read news, view gallery (dunno its my habit to view gallery everyday), call & sms + always packet data ON

i guess not.. but if it does.. maybe around 2 hour will decrease about 1% only

if not mistaken.. b4 this, cm7 or cm9 also didnt hve a good battery life izzit? its only about fast n smooth? am i?

just want to update, i got 40% during my previous post then went to sleep.. n now the battery show 37%..

30 hours? wew.. i never been that far.. the best i get is around 1d 6h with simplicity rom.. with this ICSSGS RC4.2.. the best shot is 18h so far..

OT.. is there any apps/games that similar to "cyberpet"? dunno suddenly its come to my mind

the ICS version is there right? only the version of our rom not written there.. as i'm on ICSSGS RC4.2..

use Root Explorer.. and make sure u press the R/W button if u want to manage the system file/folder

really? THS more smooth w/o semaphore? nice2.. now got some1 compare & test both rom..

yes.. ICSSGS RC4.2 is table for daily use.. and for ur information, i'm also a person who only use the stable ROM for my daily use.. coz i always use my phone for call, sms, fb, whatsapp, read news, view football news/result, capture pic, email apps and so on.. so i would recommend u this ROM + semaphore kernel.. coz i never use the stock kernel since 1st day use this rom so dunno the performance of it stock kernel..

btw.. referring to Crossover, he already tried both ICSSGS & Team Hacksung.. and he said Team Hacksung more better in term of performance.. i nvr try yet THS..

yup.. maybe also coz of that BLX.. dunno la coz this is my 1st ICS.. i nvr try the old version.. will give a try THS later..

i'm with ICSSGS for 4 days.. so far so good.. stable, smooth, and good battery's life.. but i can't compare to Hacksung coz i nvr use it yet.. but some people do said Hacksung got their own advantages

u know what.. b4 this i always use simplicity rom.. then tried gamerzom n back to simplicity.. coz i only use the stable rom, smooth, and suitable for daily use only..

then after 1st time tried this ICSSGS RC4.2, i stick with it.. mean im satisfied with it also :-) btw.. yes i use semaphore kernel since 1st day with this rom.. but heard some people said devil kernel also good..

wee.. so how was the rom? good eh? compared to icssgs n ths?

Added on February 18, 2012, 5:06 amim not so sure but i guess not.. coz inside my phone got .mp4 n .flv file.. for sure during gingerbread can play both with stock player.. but with this ICS.. only .mp4 can n .flv cant.. other format didnt give a try yet..

but so far i only use mobo player so that i cn play the.other video format than .mp4 :-)

Messaging can be set either want to auto-delete or not as usual.

To flash to ICS, safe way is use odin to flash back to stock gingerbread (JV recommended) than flash the ICS via CWM. And yes i choose semaphore kernel to make the ICS flying

About the USB transfer, i didn't check the speed but i feel normal during transfer picture, music, & apk file.

And for ICSSGS RC4.2, yes its a stable rom. Suitable for daily use (sms, call, capture pic, whatsapp, FB, browsing, games). And also have a good battery life, 12h? 15h? 17h? thats normal already for me with this rom. Easy to say, just need charge 1 times/day. Btw, the stock browser also good already no need to install opera or else. So if you guys ask me, yes i would recommend this ROM for daily use. But if u guys not satisfied with me, dont blame me coz maybe we got diff point

ICGSS? or ICSSGS RC4.2 or got another one name similar ICSGS2 V3.0..
for ur information, i never use ICSSGS stock kernel coz right after flash the rom, i run the rom, and then reboot back to cwm and directly flash to semaphore kernel.

not so sure with ur pic, but try see how long ur phone can stand.

hehe late to help u sincue u already know the answer.. btw i nvr face any fc yet..

oh ya.. if u face any prob, u should read their wiki.. coz some prob got solution that been posted on their wiki..

just want to share my method.. and i always do like this to flash any rom..

1) Flash to Stock ROM XXJVU [via odin]
2) Flash kernel [via odin] (i choose CF-root - just to make CWM available)
3) Flash ICSSGS RC4.2 [via CWM]
4) Run the phone & reboot to CWM back
5) Flash Semaphore kernel [via CWM]

for ICSSGS, before flashing the ROM.. need to do "wipe data/factory reset" & "wipe cache partition" 1st..
