Yes its true, but let the developers themselves decide. Gokhan obviously know his kernel is use in this rom cos he sometimes use this rom also.

Your problem is "deleted_wake_locks" and "svnet"

This issue have been arising in siyah kernel and is known. Dunno about other kernels. svnet is related to wifi. deleted_wake_locks have no idea related to what.

Problem is gokhan now no time to look into this. If it happen freq, try using older siyah kernel or other kernel.

For some reason, my Criskelo + NEAK combo cannot seem to read my USB OTG drives.

Is this feature kernel or ROM related? If kernel then I will flash Siyah immediately.
*
Anybody else here on Criskelo and has trouble reading any USB thumbdrives using the OTG cable? Mine says USB drive damaged (I have tried multiple drives and they all give the same error). icon_question.gif

Mine is not so bad. I get svnet but only few mins, mayb cos i seldom use wifi. Mostly on data. Haven't seen the "deleted wake lock" yet on my device but some user have reported it as well.

Hey ant, so I downloaded cf root and I wanna flash it on my phone itself without need for a PC, can I just extract the tar file, extract the zimage file and flash it in cwm app as flash kernel?

I'm using Criskelo v38.

I just tried my USB OTG. Yes, it is working when I plug in my thumbdrive. No problem here.

You should try to plug in the thumbdrive into the USB OTG first, then only plug into the SGS2...see if it helps

Yeah, that is how I do it too. You must be rooted of course to use the CWM app. If use the PC don't need root.

Sorry for hijacking your question tongue.gif

Well, I still think they should add "thanks to pikachu/gokhan" or "by pikachu/gokhan" so that users at least know it was created by someone else

Yeah, that is always how I connect mine. Plug in the thumbdrive into the cable then only into the phone.

What kernel are you running? Going to try Siyah now to see if it works or not.

Running on lulzactive on NEAK causes lag in heavy gaming. Have to switch to ondemand and then it is smooth as butter.

I didn't change the kernel. I just flashed Criskelo ROM v38 and that's it. Everything seems to be working fine. No tweaks etc...

Criskelo Comes with Siyah by default.

Just flashed the latest Siyah. Phone crashed the first time I plugged in my thumbdrive. Rebooted and it worked fine. Just cleared my caches and it works fine as well rclxm9.gif

Goodbye NEAK. It was nice knowing you...

There are a lot of ROMs in XDA that uses ThunderBolt!. Some ROM chefs contact me beforehand but most don't >.<

Can't be chasing everyone down to get the credit. As long as the name is unchanged and the scripts relatively unchanged, I'm ok with it.

@pikachu: if I need to flash back your script do I need to delete the existing script folder first or just straight flash?
