Quick Q,
I need a new bag, prefer backpack, not really sure what to get so thought to get some advice here. Recommend me backpack that can fit the following and potential additional gears.
1) D5100 with batt grip with 17-55 2.8 attached. 2) 105mm 2.8 Vr 3) SB700 x 2 4) Some filters and cleaning kit.
Thanks.

QUOTE(Klesk @ Feb 13 2012, 05:16 PM) hey CY i see lately you took landscape pictars with polarizers. which one do you use? Did not use CPL for my recent landscape shots. Some are real blue sky, some went through PP to recover the blue sky out of the white sky

QUOTE(vearn27 @ Feb 13 2012, 02:22 PM) Not reconsider, get Nikon's Speedlight or save up until you could afford one than settling with 3rd party unit. Agree with this, save more for Nikon.

QUOTE(vearn27 @ Feb 13 2012, 05:22 PM) PS. PS stands for Photoshop. The sky was there, but some shots is limited by the dynamic range of the sensor. So I had to recover it and the mask it One of the example... the original shot sky was pure white as I need to expose the pool nicely... but when recover I am able to get the details back. if hobbyists, I'd say go Yong Nuo / Nissin. Unless you have deep pockets, sure go the SB700 / 900. in fact SB700 also very good already, or find used SB600.

QUOTE(menmissed @ Feb 13 2012, 05:07 PM) Im using d5100. Actually my target is sb-600/700. 900 is too far from my range and i don think my d5100 need that kind of top class flashgun, so i just try to look for 3rd party. Can sb600 satisfy a normal user (friends n family, portraits, vacation)? Besides, i still need to get a DX portraits lens (35mm). canon is really good for calculator. For normal use, SB600/700 is good enough. If can, try to go for SB700. As with others, I would strongly suggest to go for Nikon Speedlight. Don't skim on the money, you'll be using it for very long time anytime, think long term. It's not something that got short lifespan, and it's a quality product. Although many people may think Flash is very expensive, but actually Flash is a very powerful tool and if you read on what it can do and so on, it's NOT just a flash light.... It's so much more; when you get it, read through the manual and see what it do and what's it's capable of doing. I know people who willing to pay thousands for a branded bag and have no complain, but complain a speedlight is expensive and question the value of it. Amazing.

That shows how much sharper that lens is... and distortion control is superb as well.
