QUOTE(ikki9394 @ Mar 10 2012, 01:40 PM) Seen quite some review bout it. Cnet rate it as good but some say priced at premium brand but not premium sound quality. Btw, my bro got it for around RM350 after conversion from pounds. For the sound quality, I find it much better than my gaming headphone Kave in all low, mid and highs. However, never expect it to be any much better as RM350 is not really on the premium price range haha! But anyhow, overall satisfied my need. Edit: Oh btw, I also put priority on the look of the headphone ahaha so Marshall is definitely my type of headphone lol! LOL. anything would sound better than kave i just like the marshall name, so curious on it. the marshall minors i definitely dont like cos for those small ones i prefer IEM. i dont really judge headphones on price, cos sometimes cheaper ones do sound better...of cos not so cheap until reach creative or sonicgear brand level

i find the nissin di622 mk2 ok. what got me irritated at it was the AF assist light on it is completely useless...and iirc doesnt even cover the center AF point.

QUOTE(amduser @ Mar 12 2012, 09:04 PM) he eat maggie with milo soup, i saw it i cannot brain that 70-300 AF lens dont have motor in their lens, if your dslr got no motor then you cannot use auto focus, only manual your 55-200mm and 55-300mm is a slow focus lens with variable aperture, shoot in bright daylight then okay, indoor depends on lightning, at night shot at Hi0.3 ISO if you can save up for the 70-200mm with constant f2.8 when it is better since they focus faster 2nd hand 70-300 VR, focuses just as fast outdoors, and around rm1.3-1.4k

QUOTE(iXora.ix @ Mar 13 2012, 09:41 PM) oh. you using d7000. I also using d7k. I have sandisk 8gb class 10 and sandisk 16gb the UHS-I one, but the 45mb ler. not the 45mb has been replace by 90mb i feel difference when you shooting burst. of course, the UHS win in term of buffer (: my d7000 using sandisk ultra class 4 only, burst mode works fine. QUOTE(tctham @ Mar 14 2012, 09:37 PM) I would presume you have your 18-55.. try to set your 18-55 to 35mm for a week, then see how it goes.. then the next week set it to 50mm and finally compare which focal length you are more used to.. Wrong! 35mm regardless of DX/FX lens on a DX/FX body will still be 35mm focal length..the same goes for 50mm DX/FX lens on a DX/FX body is still a 50mm focal length.. the field of view is still the same.. only the angle of view is different..
very hard to explain this without paper.. haha.. i'm too used to drawing.. "field of view" and "angle of view" mean the same thing.

QUOTE(tctham @ Mar 14 2012, 10:00 PM) i guess i might have misunderstand the term.. i was trying to explain the.. compression of different focal length.. but i failed there.. hahaha~ mixed up the terms.. yeah.. different people different preference.. preferences also may change with time.. that's why still better for him to test out with 18-55 and choose.. hehe edit: forgot to mention.. that is a good way of explaining.. maybe easier to say, even tho 35mm on DX has a similar field of view to 50mm on FX, the lens distortion is still of a 35mm... so for portraits if ur not careful on DX, the images may look weird abit. thats why still better to get 50mm lens for DX, or even 85mm even tho u have to stand further back.

QUOTE(jchue73 @ Mar 14 2012, 10:56 PM) D700 has the same focusing system as the D3s. How is it the D300s is faster? I took a look at the pics. Not too bad me thinks. It's not the same territory as the D3s at high ISO but remember it's shooting way more megapixels. Anyway, I guess the reason why Canon did not hire pros to shoot with the 5DMkIII is perhaps they are trying to portray that normal shooters can also shoot reasonably well with the 5DMkIII. No need pros to show the camera's capabilities. If people are still confused, just have a play with the lens simulator. Switch from DX to FX and change DX and FX lenses to see what type of picture you're getting at different focal lengths. http://imaging.nikon.com/lineup/lens/simulator/these ppl says D3 is faster than D700. http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/readflat...33593367&page=1this says D300 is more consistent than D700. http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp...essage=33660055make of them what u will, im not that interested in it

Not only M'sia cost a hell lot more, the service sucks too! Lousy Nikon Malaysia! someone mentioned that malaysia will only get 32gb CF card

QUOTE(hkenh @ Mar 15 2012, 08:34 PM) should be street price, coz RSP only 1.5k oh ok, check shashinki, official SRP is RM1598 and they selling at RM1488, so i wouldnt imagine street price being any lower than RM1.4k. either way thats basically same price as the 1.8D... i would guess unlike the 50mm 1.8d and 1.8g, the difference in quality for the 85mm versions arent that big.
