QUOTE(arankaru_0 @ May 20 2013, 03:57 PM) Hi guys, need expert opinion and suggestion from you all, if clarity is your main priority then definitely Colorfly C3. Best value to quality ratio. But no features though, pure music player. You probably could get it for around RM300ishBudget : below 200 (willing for extra if worth it) been Using : old Sony NWZ-B133F (already dead) priority: battery life and SQ usage: gonna use it while studying and long travel i like clear sound if that help, not really a strong bass fan advice pls |

I bought mine from him.i might consider if know the exact price how about hippo biscuit? i heard the SQ is really great Hippo biscuit is small, durable and cute haha. Very portable. Functions are very limited but based on reviews the SQ is better that iphone and ipods. Though if you want lossless music format, it only supports Wav. |

QUOTE(arankaru_0 @ May 20 2013, 11:15 PM) C3 should be better, but it is more expensive than Hippo Biscuit. But to me, the C3 sounds better with Balance Armature driver earphones. Dynamic drivers doesn't sound as good compared to BA earphones when using C3. Hippo Biscuit should do well with both BA and Dynamic i think. battery wise, it depends what music file format you are playing with. If you are going for lossless, then the battery usage life will be shorter. oh, added a review from a hippo biscuit user in jaben forum http://www.headjam.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=17 =) This post has been edited by Lego Warfare: May 20 2013, 11:53 PM |

Need recommendation for: Portable Music Player
Source : 320kbps, flac/APE(optional) Equipment : Pioneer SE-M290(Full cans, RM150), Govibe Minibox Amp(RM200) Requirement : Sound quality must be at least better than normal PC AudioOUT with a normal soundcard(on board or Realtek etc) Others: Battery Life > songs capacity Budget : RM200-RM350 Thank you. Side note(with equipments above): 1. Tested on Ultrabook Acer S7(normal soundcard), Nokia Asha 302, iPod Shuffle 4th gen and Gaming PC with Asus Xonar DG sound card. 2. SQ result: Xonar DG > Ultrabook Acer S7 > Nokia Asha 302 > iPod Shuffle(its quality can throw and feed to dogs) 3. At first I tot the SQ issues lies within the headphone, but then difference DAC really matters. Gonna use that Shuffle for Squash... Pioneer SE-M290 Specs Pioneer SE-M290 Review Posted before but no recommendation suggested. THanks. |

How's the amp section of the Colorfly C3 ya? Currently my Sansa Fuze can't power my Goldring DR150 properly and the highs are very harsh. I don't want to carry separate amp.
Or do I need Rocoo P? The P should have a higher impedance output right? Am I making sense? |

Hey guys, I need help in finding a mp3 player that doesn't use earphone because I don''t like tangled earphones and it jumps around when I'm running. I'm looking for the type that hang around your neck from behind covering your ear with microSD card to put the mp3 songs in. Not those that use bluetooth, it is a mp3 player by itself. Prefer long battery life and 8GB limit will do. I used to have one but it cannot charge so if you can direct me to a shop or website that sell it, that would be great! Thanks

Thanks for your suggestion. Read your review and Hippo Biscuit seems like a great mp3 player suitable for outdoor use, tough aluminium casing, 10hrs playback, 1.5hrs charge time, swappable microSD card, lightweight and better sound quality than Ipod touch. My only beef is that it need ear/headphones to use and I prefer no cables if possible. Still it's good to know
