my guess is that it would not come till Tab 2 10.1 is out...but Tab 2 10.1 have been delayed...so really no idea now.

Don't think it's coming out so soon... maybe end of Q3? Any news on Tab2? Heard they want to put a quad core into this baby.

The tab 2 delayed bcoz they putting in new chip rite? Not nvidia. Its supposed to be better isit? Alot of people say on the internet nvidia not so good. I wonder abt the note 10.1. Same chasis as the tab 10.1 but better right? Especially for graphics.

I CANT CHARGE MY TAB! when i connect it to charge. it simply refuse and the indicator shown as baterry with red 'x' on it. The only workaround that is working is to shut it down and charge. I rooted it but didn flash any custom rom.

I am lazy to un root it and send for rma so is there any workaround on how to solve it?

Initially they announced Tab 2 10.1 with 1.0GHz Dual Core Ti OMAP with PowerVR SGX540 GPU. But now I think it's going to be Exynos Quad Core..GPU no idea?? Mali 400 perhaps?

Btw, I am more keen on having a Tegra 3 device after this but it seems that Samsung is moving away from NVidia.

Does anyone here tried Tab 7.7 (Dual Core Exynos with Mali400) gaming before? is it better than Tegra? I like to game with my tablet so I am more keen of having a better application supported GPU.

Added on April 23, 2012, 11:26 amAre you using the Original Charger that comes with your tab? I can't charge with any other adaptor besides the original one that comes inside the box. I tried my YooBao batt pack. It shows the red X as well. I think it's either the ROM or Kernel that prevents USB charging.

For me, the only solution currently is to charge with the original charger.

Buy this : plug in the dock connector and plug in any USB generic micro USB cable - than you can charge your Tab with any of those external battery power back , such as Yoobao 4800 or 6600 or 11200 mAh. Or plug in the cable to any of those generic type USB port desktop charger

why must challenge Ipad? hehe..just curious.. i guess samsung is challenging themselves..the earlier announces Tab 2 10.1 doesn't have much differences from the current Tab 10.1...So i think it's more to improving their own product line up??

need help!!..

i bought my tab 10.1 on the launching day of the sgt 10.1 @ the curve..rm 999. am not a heavy user accept for entertainment for me & my kids..

since then everthing's ok (am using celcom 3g data package)

at home i use my home wifi to connect to my sgt 10.1 ...last week whn i tried to log in my facebook acc thru wifi..i cant access..

can open the facebook log-in page..but after i insert my username & password - press enter....it keeps loading..loading...& nothing happen.

when i use the celcom 3g card it works fine..only problem with wifi..

the strange thing is i can surf any other website accept facebook log in with my home wifi..why hoh??

10.1 and transformer got many good review. iconia not so much. If you really into tablet, go for GT 7.7.

iconia heavy and d screen aint not good for under sun....but got a full usb ported and a mmc card slot for advance...off topic d acer iconia a500 will get ics offical in end of april acroding to d offical website of acer.

Hmmm...Really into tablet? I am just curious. How does our Tab 10.1 matches against Tab 7.7. Display Tab 7.7 is much better..but how about gaming capability?
