Where can I got that touchwiz? If I already rooted to clockwordmod(izzit spelling correct?), can I just rooted to another different thing?

Hmmm...Samsung Touchwiz is the original state when you buy your Tab 10.1. You don't need to download anything if you didn't not flash any custom ROMs prior to this.

Flashing CWM (ClockworkMod) Recovery is basically replacing the stock recovery image with a custom recovery. While rooting gives your superuser status, which means access to the root / system files of your Tab.

So it depends on what do you want to do with your Tab.

Guys, need some confirmation here. I plan to reformat (hard reset? flash? don't know the word) my tab to original setting HC 3.2. How can I do that? Will all my paid apps available for download from the market?

All the app you 'properly' installed or purchased thru market will be in the app history when you browse using your PC. All you need to do is just click install and it will send the request to your tab. Much faster than searching using the Tab. For purchased app, you only pay once and its will be in your app list to be installed again.

The easier way would be to use a backup app and backup all your apps and data to an external source. You can use 'My backup" , if you're not rooted, which is available for 30 days trial or you can purchase 'My Backup Pro' for unlimited time. If you are rooted the best app would be 'Titanium Backup"

I previously did mine without backing up so I know the agony of lost files and having to restart all games and levels.

How if I flash to custom firmware? Will all the bought app will recognize the tab? I bought lots of app during the 10 cent promotion last time so will be waste if can't use them back.

Oh...I see...well, I also not sure want I to do with my tab...had rooted with that ClockworkMod and got that superuser....certain apps does require superuser....maybe if download apps that require rooted tab, sure has a lot of thing to do I guess....

Have any of u guys tried the go launcher hd? I installed it a few days ago n its really nice. Its quite similar to the ipad 3. With the drawers n stuff. I went n checked out the ipad3 at courts mammoth today n i dont feel so bad. I thought it was going to be like a huge difference between the 2 but not so bad i think. But then im new to all this. Especially if u have the go launcher. I think.

Since you have rooted your tab. Just flash a kernel and OC this baby...You'll have 2 cores running at 1.4GHz on your demand!

Added on April 20, 2012, 2:46 pm????...Hmmmm...I am not sure why...But I dont compare my Tab to a PAD...for me it's 2 different OS using different hardware...So I dont think you need to feel bad as it's a brilliant Androidic choice!

Been using go launcher hd for sometime, infact it is the launcher that is bearable to use with live wallpaper that i am addicted to. I on overcome 2.3.1 by the way

Should be no problem. Just browse market in your PC and re-install the apps. Sometimes it become incompatible if the app does not support the Android version such as you bought an app optimised for Honeycomb and you flash your Tab with ICS. The app might not have been updated for that. You can flash any ROM you want but underneath all of that, it is still Honeycomb or ICS and Android Market recognise that and not so much the custom ROM.

I have the overclock feature in kang ics all this while bt never bother to try it.
Iset to 1.4gh on demand. Boy the speed increase is definately noticeable. Especially swapping tabs in browser. It use the lag awhile for the new page to appear, nw the loading time is reduced. Amazing.

Not sure how it affects battery life. About heat, cnt feel any difference probably due to the casing.

Sorry if this has been asked before..

Regarding my Facebook apps on my Gtab, Since last 2 weeks ago, "Timeline" not appear on my FB app anymore..

Its hard to browse photos and everything..

Tried uninstall > Restart > Re-Install > Restart... BUT still same problem..

Any idea what goes wrong?
