Received my first SMS alert for swipe transaction on my Citibank CC for an amount less than min amount set.
Maybe because I requested for the replacement CC.

Update for UOB Credit Card: We can change the SMS alert transaction limit to RM 1 and above. I have successfully done so and got the SMS for a RM 40 transaction. Just fill in the "SMS Transaction Alert Service Maintenance Form" from UOB website at Useful Information -> Application Form -> Personal Banking. The completed form should be sent to UOB via fax, post or direct hand-in. Take note that the fax number written in the form is outdated. The correct fax number should be 03-26900121, those in doubt may call up UOB to confirm.
Gen-X, please do add this info to UOB Credit Cards thread as well. This post has been edited by 64bit: Sep 26 2012, 10:42 PM |

This is the sternest respond from BNM after I filed a complain on one bank who did not adhere to the SMS requirement:
QUOTE Thank you for highlighting this matter to us. We will bring this issue to xxxx's attention and take the necessary action to ensure xxxx complies with BNM requirements at all times. |
