that depends on certain area la for signal strength. i always try different radio whenver my 3G signal is on idle or not stable. i flashed each radio(i donwnload all old and new ones that are available), and test it within an hour for all and got the one that doesnt hang.

stock radio is KK1 on my Gnex. actually it follows what Gnex that u got. so that means i didnt change my radio yet. last is KL1 i think. but i heard KK6 is the best. recommended by ARHD dev i think.

I dont really know much about the processor thing. But the good screen on GalNex + battery life alone enough to tell me that GalNex is a better phone. I did a comparison between my friends' S2..the screen colour on GalNex looked much better. Oh yea...dont like the S2 home button as well.

I like soft key after using it. Didn't like buttons as they will look ugly sooner or later (color pealed)
Plus GNex resolution will last us longer than S2.

i'm using AOKP build 17 with franco kernel...
really the best so far... that's why most of the ppl go for that combination.
if you find the Kang booting animation sucks... u can change by downloading it.

maybe you should donwload a new rom instead using the yakju ROM.

Guys im using AOKP right now, i want to customize my LED notification colour,

i heard people said it can be customize until different apps got different colour im like whattt....

now since I have flashed yakju...I can not open my gnex as usb device having folders..earlier I used to copy paste my stuff in samsung build..anyone else faced similar issue

nope, but instead i use Custom Rom, and i use Titanium Backup to backup auto, and i can still put thing inside there with no prob =)

Yep you cant. Only with stock apps like Calls/SMS etc. Cant set for my Whatsapp

AnandTech review of the Google Galaxy Nexus is finally up, btw.

The video review in particular, is very impressive. Especially his breakdown on the different approaches Google, Apple and Microsoft take with regards to their mobile operating experience. Though you can still tell he's a hardware guy first and foremost by the way he refers to new SoCs and doesn't quite get why the Nexus line is pure Android without OEM skins. Personally, I'd rather take an older processor in an easily rootable/hackable device compared to a slightly faster processor in a heavily OEM skinned locked down device.

WiFi browsing battery drain tests were disappointing, tbh.
I wonder how much that'll improve with updates, kernels and custom ROMS.

Someone ask for single page rendering column when open web page.
To enable single rendering column, open web page ,under URL type about:debug
Hit go and you see blank page, go setting and you see extra setting after lab,
Navigate until single column and enable that.Now when you open web page you have one lay out single rendering web page.
Regarding someone mention about numerous soft reboot after sometime,
first you don't use any type of juice defender or task killer,The force GPU enable also contribute to the reboot.
I notice after browse heavy web page and intensive game the phone get hot a little bit,when battery temperature hit 51"C and i get overheat message on test menu under batt information ,the galaxy nexus start reboot by itself. I leave it under power off condition for 5 minute and amazingly the galaxy nexus cool down temperature at fast rate.I power on again and see batt temperatureat 30"C. For me it quite amazing.The heat distribution is fast along the body.
Now i currently disable force GPU accelerated,and thing works well.
In between can someone verify Bump apps can be use in Galaxy nexus?
