uhm... nope, omap4460's default clockspeed is 1.5ghz, but underclocked to 1.2ghz on GNex. so theoretically there are plenty of headroom for improvements

and I don't get where do people get the impression that Omap 4460 is a worse CPU than the Exynos. What makes you think that Exynos is faster than Omap4460 clock for clock? CPU wise they are actually about the same. Its just the GPU that is superior. Even then, the difference isn't as much as you thought it is. "are yet to be fully utilized"? So is Omap4460 and SGX540@384mhz. You can't draw conclusion that 4460 is "almost reaching its peak" just because its optimized for ICS. Optimized != peak reached.

today i tried several times connecting to GPS, but already on GPS for 5 minutes each time and still cannot get any signal.

tried restart my phone still the same.

is it possible signal problem? but 2 days back i can get signal at the same place.

do i need to factory reset?

you are probably right but have a look at SGSII g version and non-G version first. G version's specs basically is like slightly downgraded GalNex and yet many things that run smoothly in non-G failed to perform to the same level in G versions. could be software issues, but still.

where's ur location? open area or inside building?

I tried yesterday some flashing etc and then I was unable to boot..whole night waited for google logo and lock to go. Now I did factory reset and still not able to boot. The google logo + lock behind it since last 15 mins.... help

Using Cwm to flash? Try reflash. Or better download rom again. Check for md5 file before flashing.

yesterday I flashed franco kernel without any roms.... then later I flashed google stock rom from the google's link.... now did factory reset
