Too lazy too backtrack 16 pages (congrats on V4, btw), but has anyone tried the CyanogenMod 9 Music Player yet?
http://www.seeingpixels.org/2012/01/cyanog...9-music_16.html CyanogenMod 9 stable still isn't ready for the GalNex yet, but the music player installs fine on stock ICS. This post has been edited by G-17: Jan 18 2012, 08:25 PM |

QUOTE(AlphaBeta @ Jan 18 2012, 08:00 PM) or flash only milestones, that's what I plan to do. btw, I have to say franco kernel is really good. I used to have constant reboot when playing Astro Planet Story with the stock kernel, but after flashing franco kernel... not one reboot so far, and only 1 crash. compared to stock kernel which crashes and reboot like ever 10 minutes. Though it could be too early to say since its only been one day, will have to observe longer This post has been edited by phantomash: Jan 18 2012, 08:34 PM |

Hi guys, i'm in the dilemma whether to get Gnex or S2.
So far, from my research, i only found out that S2 have better camera than Gnex, and it's around RM800 cheaper than Gnex if buy from Digi. Ignore the Android distro and price in the consideration. How does Gnex camera perform in real life, especially in low light condition ? And, does Gnex browser support flash now ? I heard adobe have not develop flash support for ICS from those reviews. Would really appreciate if anyone can answer my question, thanks. Thinking to get Gnex as it seems to me that it's more futureproof, but then the hardware spec is almost the same between Gnex and S2. Then once again, Gnex is a Google Phone ! *though it's built by samsung* This post has been edited by WjLye: Jan 18 2012, 08:57 PM |

Yep Galaxy Nexus is more future proof , has better screen and battery life, and ICS! dun think so. SGSII is more future proof in terms of the hardware except the screen. Exynos and Mali 400 are yet to be fully utilized by current system and application requirements. on the otherhand powervr and tiomap is more on compatibility. which means, its almost reaching its peak d. cannot ask too much from it d. |

What makes you think that Exynos is faster than Omap4460 clock for clock? CPU wise they are actually about the same. Its just the GPU that is superior. Even then, the difference isn't as much as you thought it is. "are yet to be fully utilized"? So is Omap4460 and SGX540@384mhz. You can't draw conclusion that 4460 is "almost reaching its peak" just because its optimized for ICS. Optimized != peak reached. This post has been edited by phantomash: Jan 18 2012, 09:17 PM |

G version's specs basically is like slightly downgraded GalNex and yet many things that run smoothly in non-G failed to perform to the same level in G versions. could be software issues, but still.and I don't get where do people get the impression that Omap 4460 is a worse CPU than the Exynos.
