one issue here, whenever i got notification, i can directly drag the bar without unlocking the screen first (face unlock,pattern,pin) ..so it indirectly bypass the unlock method. is it a common feature in android?

Just received my barely there case mate... bought for 18 pound inclusive of shipping cost.. placed order on ebay on 13 jan.. received it today.. expectation met.. sorry for the low quality pictures..

It's a feature in ICS. If you have a password or face unlock enabled, the notification bar cannot be dragged open.

Haiz... Till now I still can't purchase Melkco case from carrymobile since the day Uncle Benny introduced it... Still run out of stock... Currently using Niikin Red hard case and it cause the words(Samsung and Google) on battery case turned red... can't rub it off sad.gif

but i use face unlock and slide as an option.. perhaps i should change to face+pin?

guys, my phone suddenly shut down twice this evening, i don't know why, just browse the internet nothing more, i want to turn it on after that but i can't, only after removing the battery and install it again then i can turn on the phone, anyone experience this, care to share what's the causing problem?

another one is sometime the Google wording in the search bar at home page disappear although i dont kacau it sometime it come back, anyone knows why??

i guess you're using stock ics rom also right. got some user reported same problem like yours a few pages back.

yupp pure stock, no root, no unlock, no flash yet, still learning how to do those thing first, does flashing new rom can prevent that???

nod.gif when i got my nexus on the 1st day then straight away to home, learn to root this phone. So i don't have any issue like what you've said. until now my phone okay, no problem whatsoever.

is a tiny percentage to brick your phone when root
even brick just a small case, i also brick before, but i found solution
and use toolkit is better, otherwise manual if you fail to root using toolkit
erm, you try get the phone setting from either digi website or its menu ??
like for maxis is *100# to get the phone setting from maxis, no idea need to type what for digi @@

Just follow the steps in order 1,2,3,4, etc.. until u flash CMW then everything will be easy.
