If you say "the lightest 5 inches". I would answer.. At the moment Scott Spark 2012. LoL!~ sweat.gif
Get a Yeti 575 la... Not so expensive compared to other All mountain.. (If I am right laa)  icon_rolleyes.gif
*
What the heck...they re really screwing with us...the consumers....
All the more reason I think you should stick to 26er...

Why a five inch? If your answer isn't concrete then your are looking at the wrong travel....muahahaha
*
Obviously I hope to get a FS cause I really like riding at Kiara...

Taking into account the following:

1. Kiara Trail
2. I want something thats not that heavy, helps me climb (with my body weight I dont think I can afford to carry additional weight)
3. But with enough travel for me to enjoy Kiara
4. Though I love going downhill...I dont think Ill be making jumps and bombing it like the downhillers

My logic is ...if you wanna bomb it going downhill..you ll need more travel..which requires a stronger frame therefore the frame will be heavier (carbon out of the question)...I ve researched an notice...XC(lightest)-->Trail(Light)-->AM(Heavy)-->DH(Heaviest)

And I dont want a bike thats too heavy...so I think a 5 inch Trail Bike is just nice

With your body weight... Better to go for durability rather than weight weenie lo...
*
Well....I think as long as its an Alu...its ok....which is why Carbon is a big no no....Im not a weight weenie la...but a bike with a good balance between climbing and descending would be nice

Trance X would be the lightest IINM.
Stroke * leverage ratio, etc. = rear travel
*
Hmmmm yeah la...so far I googled its among the lightest...but one problem....Giant problem...hehehe I dont fancy it ...just my preference

Today I went to Specialized...waaaa...boxes of Stumpy arrived...26 some more...but no Evo...I wonder why hmm.gif
