hi folks, thinking of subscribing to the Time fibre 2M Value (RM99, no wifi router) package.

Question is, i brought home my Netgear N3000 Wireless ADSL2+ Modem router (was using this when i was in australia).

Since no wifi router is provided, can i use my netgear wireless router with the fibre service to transmit wireless connection in my apartment? Will the configuration be pretty straight forward?

Many thanks.

Sure, why not.

Just set your Netgear to PPPoE and connect. The configuration are straight forward, not like unifi where there is setting for vlan etc.

Me myself change the linksys e1000 provided by TIME and replace it with MikroTik.

Hi...

Yes you may upgrade to 6Mbps. But if you downgrade, you will be charged RM200 for Penalty fee.

Anyway there is no penalty if you downgrade during the FREE Trial month.

For 24-Months contract,

1) FREE 1 Month Trial
2) FREE Activation
3) FREE Installation (15m fibre cables given for indoor, all outdoor cables will be covered by TIME.) (Additional indoor cables will be charged at RM45/3m.
4) Waived Equipment Deposit
5) FREE Dect Phone
6) FREE Fibre Modem
7) FREE Cisco Linksys E1000 Wireless Router (not applicable for 2M value package).

There is NO hidden fee, you will just need to pay for the package price you subscribe.

Thanks.
