Hi Guys,
The DNS issue has been resolved since last night. Taking into consideration of the propagation delays, before lunch time should be all back to normal. Anyway there's no issue to stick on the Google DNS that you have changed. Alternatively, you may set it back to Auto to use Time assigned DNS. Restart your Router to get a fresh connection. i think the issues happen on intermittent period of time.
my server intermittent reporting the connection to overseas is lost. |

Not sure if this started with the DNS issue or not but I noticed that the ping is slightly higher again now while connecting to G*arena game server for LoL.

how can we persuade Time to extend coverage for home fibre ?
My house is a new house area surrounded by Unifi. Not sure how long to get Unifi to my area. |

Hi, is it true that Time Broadband do not allow users to change their passwords? I was told by customer service staff that Time Broadband no longer allow their customers to change passwords on the Time Broadband self care website. She said that many customers only changed their passwords on the self care website, but forgot to change the passwords on their router. So customers can only change the wifi passwords.
But Time Broadband should indeed educate their customers on this matter. This policy really sucks! |

Initially customers are allowed to change their Time Account password at the Selfcare portal. But quite a lot of users login to change their passwords after Installation, but they don't know that they must also change it in the router. So customers called up to complain that Time's line is unstable ....bla bla bla.... Tons of these same cases happened..At first Time & we also try to educate customers, but facing lots of customers who unwilling / do not know how to login to the Router & change it there. Believe me if we were to spend 10 mins on the phone to guide just one customer to change the password in the Router until they managed to connect back to Internet... if there were 50 or more customers call in per day for the same case...? Some customers are really reluctant to login to the router by themselves, so end up they made lots of complaints & Time has to send the Installer over & causing extra spending..... Hence eventually after considering the security issue & other factors...the Selfcare Password Changing feature was disabled. Thanks. |
