i use this.

TPLINK TL-WR1043ND
http://www.tp-link.com/en/products/details...del=TL-WR1043ND

Plug and play only.

No special settings, just key in the user id and password in the router, that's all.

That's weird because mine doesn't work when I did the same as you.
I've removed my username and MAC address from the system log.

You sure the modem is ok? Got the stable lights? Maybe you try factory reset on your router and see.

Yeah I've been using the TIME router on and off, while trying to work out the TP-Link Archer C7 and it works. Just not when I plug in my router.
Already called tp-link and did factory reset
Sent them the system log.

Hi Bro,

It seems that the LCP (link control protocol) error, this is a transmission packet that determines the acceptability of your PPPOE connection.

Usually you need to check your configuration & also your transmission packet size.

Feel free to PM me & Bro Matrix about your settings, see we can help further.

Thanks biggrin.gif

Anyone familiar with any TIME installations at Pantai Panorama condo, Bukit Kerinchi / Bangsar South area? Building 2 to be exact.

Any special building install surcharges?

Can anything be done to get an installation done faster?

Seeing discussion of using alternate routers, can an Apple Airport Express be used instead of the modem router provided by TIME?

Lastly, I want both TIME and Astro IP TV. Any advice how to order both, and minimize the time to get them installed - with TIME being my priority?

Thanks!

Thinking of signing up for 6 mbps package + astro iptv from my original astro subscription...how's the latency like compared to unifi?

I've heard that maxis is the slowest among the 3, I'm a casual gamer(LoL,gw2 etc) so I just need a stable line. 6mbps should be fine compared to my current 1mbps streamyx.

Hi Bro...

Latency will depend on your server location that you are connecting to... some areas such as SG, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong (Unifi is comparable as it has an IX thr)...Time has a lot lower latency compared to Unifi...

For US, it's Unifi & Time both are comparable, with certain areas like CA (San Frans) & Illinois.. Unifi is having lower latency...

Thanks.

Hi, wanna ask if Time Unlimited Broadband available at Subang Olives Residence (Jalan SS16/1 Subang Jaya).

I used to see flyers in my condo area about Time/Astro IPTV broadband packages. But when i searched the TdC website, it doesn't show my place within coverage.

Recently my Unifi contract is up, so intend to change. Please reply here or PM if you have any info.

got some weird issue here, for the past few month, my upload speed is always stays at around 8mbps, and after applying the boost, my upload would reach somewhat 40mbps.

But on this month, i noticed my upload is being capped at 6mbps, i called Time broadband 1800181818, they reset my port, now is capped at 7.5mbps, even with the BOOST, upload is still capped at 7.5mbps.
