u want better solutions, but u dun wan root ur phone. it is useless then. u wan to have a faster ride, but u dun wan modify ur car engine compartments, what's the deal there? faham? regarding play and pro, i duno much.

however, just to conclude my personal opinion, PRO is like not a very very smooth qwerty phone for me. there is still room for improvements. im looking into the future qwerty slides from SONY for the coming new concept batch. hmm.gif

chill brotha
getting all pumped up there lol
true, Pro can be smooth at times, can be very laggy at times
plus if RAM higher i think only can see the true power of this 1 gHz cpu

itchy to root it...after root can still get ICS update or have to unroot it ?

u can get ICS generic rom and flash it in with flashtool or equivalent third party softwares from xda by then. will wait for rooted ICS rom for PRO instead of the generic rom.

u cant do anything to the system without rooting it. to alter setting to the rom PERMANENTLY, u need access to the system, where rooting is required. if the app provides ram management without rooting, i doubt it really can do it or just simply boasting or duping u all around only. hmm.gif

mybe the charger itself .. doh.gif
coz when i'm charged with my other charger (w8) it took longer than 1 1/2 hour .. shakehead.gif
*
Note tht our stock charger is 850mA.
My friend's stock Spiro charger is only 550mA, and computer USB port even lower mA.
Charging time increased noticeably when I used the charger. So unless you can find a higher amps charger, our stock charger will be the fastest charger. faster charging rate may shorten battery life span as well, bur since it's stock design from SE, shouldn't have problem.

saw at sg petani tesco, mesh case for PRO rm10 per set. exactly same like the one i bought from yeelin.duh~

Erm, at times square less than rm15.

To all,

I found this seller at mudah.com. According to him, xperia pro is not like hot cakes here in cheras, and he willing to send it COD for free.  Lucky me huh.   Also got screen protector too hehe.

and yes, it's HDMI cable. I've received 3 types of cable, wall charger cable, car charger cable and HDMI cable together with earphone and screen protector.   Also 18months waranty.

If I wait longer, i can buy it at the price of 700 per set, and again why wait? Hehehe... Love my pro now, even my husband (who very proud of his samsung galaxy s) said that this phone is very nice.
*
That's a Ap set with original SE spec accessories? That's very cheap you got it there.. Somemore unbeatable18months warranty.

Just get a Samsung micro-USB on-the-go cable and root your phone for USB mass storage connection.
And no rooting if u just need to connect mouse and keyboard, less than rm20 settle, no need live dock.

That's what I waiting. Once warranty over then rooting will be priority, complete with ICS update that time.

herm, she also have a SGP like back case for Xperia PRO
i bought mine from her for rm 25..
kinda expansive tho but its serve me well,

make the phone feel a little bit bulky but it make the sliding keyboard feel more comfortable

those keyboard and the back part of Xperia PRO is really slim for a guy with big or medium hand, x puas mah...

i hv read the 1st post and according to siuyi:

QUOTE
Add-ons (siuyi haven't tried anything from this point onwards)

1- Upon unlocking bootloader and rooting your MK16i, if you tend to update your unit via pc companion under 'Support Zone' (also known as FOTA Update, Firmware over the air update), our update will be denied OR you WILL brick your phone. If you happen to brick your phone, do not worry and refer below.

REPAIR it due to FOTA Brick or ENABLE FOTA update, read the link below:

Enable FOTA update for UNLOCKED bootloaders WITHOUT brick (recommended)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1385725

and if the above doesn't work, try the method below:

Fix FOTA bricked (unlocked bootloader) Phones
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1126358

2- To relock your phone's bootloader, read the link below:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1324703

and with video guide: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVIUNXNbZhU

so u can FOTA ur rooted device but u must follow siuyi steps accordingly....

as always be cautions....
