The amount in three funds in FSM are same which is not much as you guys think. Let's me disclose and not playing any guessing here.

It's RM 2k in AMD, OSK EMB and AMAP REIT.
*
I enter rm1k for REIT... Will buy again in another 2-3 months time.. laugh.gif

Hi Wong seefood,

you mentioned Transfer-In Campaign - ZERO % sales charges. Did they say there is a time frame for this campaign? After that, no more FREE transfer in possible?

Hi flers!

My FSM account just got activated today. Will be lurking a bit more around these forums before I actually do any transactions online. FSM has quite good resources for newbies like me to read!

@kaka

hmm not affected apparently.

===

I felt that my instinct is going to hurt me, dumping lump sum now as FBM KLCI reaches point high every week.

Business cycle...ge13....aww...

I want to do regular saving plan (RSP), but I have only Public Bank account. It is a hassle for me to to bank in cash via Maybank atm just to avoid the interbank transfer.
*
Bro.. Better not do lump sum at this time.

Lunch time during working day you are not able to go to bank?

Alexkos... Ya I think you will only lose the 1% for selling/redeem. The sales charge when you enter... I don't think the funds you bough got exit fee. But you need to double check..

If you plan to top up once a while when you got cash, then don't bother to sell. Just keep them.. Just my thoughts..

so i if buy unit trust thru fundsupermart, where is our investment going in? Under fundsupermart or respective fund house?
Do i get monthly statement or anual statement? Is the statement issued by fundsupermart or directly from the fund house?
Pls advise. Thx.
*
Fundsupermart is like a distributor for all those fund houses. It is like if you buy funds from investment house A from OCBC bank, uob bank, Cimb bank..

You pay to fundsupermart.. Then they will buy for you. No monthly statement.. But you can view your summary of portfolio from the Internet..

Wooi Kaka, got monthly statement lar...but not in paper form, FSM already stopped mailing out statements, they do it thru e-mails instead.

Thru FSM, u can view your current statement anytime. Monthly statements are produced and can be viewed from FSM website. It's in PDF format.
*
Opps.. Sorry for my mistake. I only started with fundsupermart less than one month only. So didn't see the statement in PDF comming.. My bad!

Not possible anymore.. unless they decided to re-open it for sales, which I think unlikely..

guys, I'm studying unit trust now, hoping that someday i'll put some money on this part of investment.

looking at the price of most unit trust avail in fundsupersmart, it's very not encouraging imo to start 'saving' now due to the high price/high klci index. am i correct?

another thing is unit trust solely depends on the price of the unit trust (higher price = higher profits) only with no dividend play at all. am i right >.<
*
Bro.. you have your own investment blog which explains some UT basics. You still asking here? Pulling our legs is it?

The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak... didn't make the time to study & analyze what to sell (PM) and buy (FSM) - had my monthly financial tracking last weekend & Raya holidays enjoying the company of my loved ones sweat.gif

I suspect i'd need 2 solid days' focus - to reconstruct my plans (programmatic + opportunity investing for cash & EPF with overall Asset Allocation arcing controls) shocking.gif..
AND LOTS OF COFFEE (oo reminds me.. i'm running out of tongkat Ali coffee blush.gif)
*
Me also. but I am not more on the analysis part. I mostly will transfer everything in little by little. Already created a beneficiary account with my parent name. Now just need to see if I go go back hometown to let my parent sign off the register form..

Yes, KLCI is peaking, but there's always bond funds...mind u, the bond funds under my portfolio delivers IRR of 8%++ biggrin.gif

High or not, depends on the underlying stockholdings of the fund, the fund NAV price alone tells no story.
*
Pink..my bond also at XIRR 8%++ with less than 1.5 yrs.

I feel this workshop is mainly to promote RHB Asian Total Return Fund hmm.gif
Not a bad fund, as it feeds into a good Singapore-based UOB fund...but 2% SC for a bond fund... shakehead.gif
*
