I see FSM allows 2 payment methods. How many of here uses the CMF to pay? I believe it is more convenient, but what about NAV movements of it? Will it devalue, shrinking our RM as the NAV drops. As compared to GIRO transfer.
*
I still use both method to pay... started this like 2-3 months ago. Will put in some $$ into CMF when got salary (this to benefit with the 3%pa rather than savings rate). Somehow if I have left over of $$ towards end of the month and wanted to top up in my UT, I will use bank transfer to pay.

So far, the NAV is going up and up slowly and not volatile. Rm1K in CMF can get like RM2++ of interest a month, like get a free 100plus to drink... hehe

Started using CMF like 2 months back, very easy and recommend for it. So far to me movement of the NAV is up and up slowly. If put rm1k in CMF, in 1 month can get like rm2++

I'm starting to appreciate the work Fund Managers do for us...stock-picking is so stressful...and then when to buy in is also a big headache... sweat.gif

Most KLCI equity funds 5-year annualised returns around 10%...I wonder can I match that sweat.gif
*
Haha.. that is why I am also considering conservative mix asset and balance funds. Unless market crashes la, then go into stocks myself.

CIMB Principal Asia Pacific Dynamic Income fund is a good fund in my personal opinion. It employ similar strategy as Kenanga Growth Fund.

The benchmark it used is 8% p.a.

you have this fund?

Hwang SAOF and CIMB APDIF employs different strategies...

Hwang's as its name implies, rides on "opportunities", i.e. balancing act between growth stocks, dividend stocks and small caps. Whereas CIMB's as its name implies, does "income investing" i.e. focuses more on dividends.

Kaka, if u already got Hwang AQF, CIMB APDIF would fit your portfolio better. Just my 1 sen worth of opinion. icon_rolleyes.gif
