u can input your unit holdings too, so that u can see your +/- in RM terms?
*
Can can do that.. Just input 2 things. Total units and ave bought in NAV... Then it will calculate your profit and loss. When you top up, sell, switch..you need to update it la of course

Well, there're only two choices in FSM.

The other one from OSK-UOB invests heavily in HK which I try to avoid.
*
So far hk property prices keep going up even during the 2008 downturn.. Think cause of the mainland ppl come to hk buy..

For those who interested with AmAsia Pacific REIT fund:

AmMutual open to more REIT buys

KUALA LUMPUR: AmMutual, which is positive on the Asia-Pacific real estate investment trusts (REITs) market, is keeping its options open on buying more REITs in the region, but much will depend, among others, on the liberalisation of a country's REITs regulation.

I think I will put REITs approximately 5% of my total portfolio. To achieve 5%, I think I need 1-2 yrs..

Halo bos, initial investment min. RM1000...

RM1000 = 5% of RM20K hmm.gif

So, ur portfolio must be way more than RM20K now brows.gif  laugh.gif
*
That is not what I meant la... I mean my target is to grow REITs in my UT portfolio to achieve 5%. RM1K initial cannot get to 5% la, that is why I said I need 1-2 yrs to reach that 5% if I top up once a while when got $$

I buy in minimum RM1000 already 3%...to have difficulty attaining 5%...his portfolio must be stupendously big drool.gif
*
Wah... you all look me so high meh. I just makan gaji and also not high profile management position la.. I only started to save more like 3 yrs ago when getting marry. Before that I save like 10% of income only..

I wont buy lump sum for equity funds.. so like you, start with 1K. Then top up when I think necessary at 100 - 500 range (few months once). But mostly 100 la.. so that is why I say I may need 1 - 2 yrs to achieve 5% ma..

Wanna have sautainable passive recurring SGD50,000 by 2020.......  wink.gif
*
If by 2020 I can get 30-40K in MYR terms per annum, I am already happy. SGD50K, it will be impossible for me at my current situation. Even getting 30-40K MYR is already not likely for me already.. sad.gif

I thought when single SHOULD be able to save more compared to after married? hmm.gif

I am those like to hang out mamak, starbucks, buy snaks or titbits eat, eat out everyday including weekend, drinking, club, etc those kind last time.. now still have those attitude in me la, just control control...

After having family.. I suddenly think of need to support a family with kids. Give kids better future and so on.. so that is why i started saving. Then investing like 2 yrs ago (though I am already late stage just going into investing). Those days, I only think I enough to use is enough.. and dont even bother to put my idle money in FD. I put in savings only...

30K p.a. passive income...2.5K a month hmm.gif

Assuming high yield investments like 10% p.a.

Means u need to invest about 300K sweat.gif

If ignore EPF, I need about 30 years to achieve that doh.gif

Ngam ngam time retire at 55 laugh.gif
*
I mean additional 30K/yr ma.. me still plan to work ma.

That is why I say, even 30K/yr to get by 2020 it is not possible to me.. think need consistent 30-40% return every yr.. shxt.. that is impossible

This is not a new fund even FSM website doesn't have data at fund info page. You can view the fund datasheet to know its past performance.

What fund(s) u wanna transfer into FSM?
*
Planning to switch all my OSKUOB funds (now buying through UOB bank) to Fundsupermart. Will consider that after I made my first switching in the OSKUOB fund (which is FOC for first 2 switches). After that, they will charge sales charge 3% when do switching..
