For 2012, they only declare one distribution.
*
I thought they declare once before somewhere in March'12?

1) AmBank - Successful
2) Alliance Bank - Their bank system shows PENDING ALLOCATION, still not sure successful or not. Shxt!

Yeah, I also remember.

The way I see it, the distribution serves 2 purposes now:
(1) Increase units in circulation, make it closer to the approved limit laugh.gif
(2) Distribute back some cash to unit holders, they're running out of good bonds to invest in hmm.gif

Just topped up my OSK-UOB EMBF...today Asian equities rallying, bond prices under pressure...probably the last chance to buy before bond yields continue to drop when equities resume their downtrend...things don't look too rosy for equities for the short term
*
Bro.. u so much ammo left to top up lagi ka? Haha...

I just know that Oskuob EMBF is a feeder fund. Tracking United EMBF from Singapore. Seems their performance over the yrs is solo wor. But why now the Oskuob EMBF doing so good?

You think good to go it this time? Or wait? Got 1% sales charge lei..

United EMBF is denominated in SGD

One reason I suspect would be SGD appreciating against MYR, helping the NAV in RM terms hmm.gif
E.g. u buy RM100 when RM2:$1. Later when RM2.5:$1, your holding would be valued at RM125. Get it? icon_idea.gif

(in SGD terms)
1 year: 5.85%
2 years: 5.35%
3 years: 8.98%
5 years: 6.68%
10 years: 6.71%

Not bad what? rclxub.gif

Its up 3.68% in past 3 months...quite consistent with my holding's performance.
*
Ah.. Get it. Forex appreciation la..

Well.. Performance is not bad if comparing with normal bond fund la.. Hehe

But 1% sales charge.. Reluctant to pay la for a bond fund

if u THINK properly, AmDynamic Bond lagi teruk rolleyes.gif

With EMBF, u buy in SC 1.5% (normal SC rate), RM1,000 means u pay RM1,015
then profits are all yours

But with AmDynamic Bond, u buy in no SC, RM1,000
but years later u sell, RM1,000 sudah jadi RM2,000...exit fee 1% means u "rugi" RM20 tongue.gif
*
Haha..you think like tat ar. Good also..

Buy in rm1k, don't know wait till when just can see at least untung rm500.

Should be the same bro.. You can use the portfolio stock section to input all the funds you are holding. Then just monitor from there...

Everyday after work I'd update my funds value based on immediate preceding business day NAV...and I thought I was kiasu...

...until I read about u laugh.gif
*
Haha.. I don't update it la. I update in my excel file maybe once or twice a week. Excel will have a better picture and info on how my holding funds performing..

As for Bloomberg apps, I just open every night to see some headlines and go into my portfolio see how much I gain or loss in total in that day.. Bloomberg giving me bigger overall picture.

Since AmDynamic Bond is closed, anybody consider to opt for:

AmBond: http://www.fundsupermart.com.my/main/fundi...number=MYAMBOND

Or AmDynamic Sukuk: http://www.fundsupermart.com.my/main/fundi...lnumber=MYAMDSK
*
I may want to consider AmDynamic Sukuk in future when my overall fix income percentage go lower in my portfolio..

See how this fund perform in 1yr first..
