Only using the ATV4 as an AirPlay device to stream iFlix as iFlix doesn't yet have an app for the ATV4.

If you are asking is the Apple TV is able to read USB drives (like Thumbdrives, Portable HDD), then no but then you can already plug these drives directly to TV.

However, Apple TV can read from Network drive (from your PC, MAC, network drive like Synology or Time Capsule) using apps like Filebrowser and infuse.

You can also transfer video,music, photo files directly to Apple TV for storage with apps like OneVideo.

just bought an apple tv two days ago. mirroring from ios devices is pretty impressive. i can play iflix from my iphone, use vlc to play movies in my NAS. now waiting for unifi 30mb installation to try video streaming using netflix etc.

i have some minor issue with my apple tv gen 4. to be precise, problem with disney XD and disney junior app.

i can download and see list of program in the app after i download it. however, after i sign in to my provider (comcast xfinity), the app keep on crashing upon loading.

not sure if this is related to geo-location. but my hulu, netflix, FX channel app all working fine (with unotelly dns).

i've tried to delete and reinstall the app. but the issue still persist.

any bro here also use disney app?

Happened to me too, disney junior crashes if I'm logged in to xfinity. Otherwise it loads fine w/o login.

BTW, do you experience issue when streaming hulu? I got indefinite spinning wheel when attempt to start a show.

my apple id is MY and i have set my ATV4 to US region in-order for me to download netflix. whenever i try to DL it says something like"it's not available in MY".

may i know how to solve this?
