QUOTE(JollyRogers @ Nov 1 2015, 11:51 PM) Can someone help to finally clarify for me You can set DNS in most hardware components. In your ATV, Desktop, Iphone etc. So this means, you can tell most of your computer items to use which DNS. There is no 'hardwiring' DNS... Maxis fibre comes with a telephony modem and the DNS is hardwired into the modem , So can still change DNS or use VPN for Hulu and Netflix ? Thanks in advance Currently using unlocator.com for DNS on my ATV3 and it works fine. |

Thinking of getting an Apple TV,but actually what does it do
The new AppleTV should be able to stream Netflix and stuff as long as I subscribe to those VPN services yes? If lets say I dont subscribe to VPN services, what can the AppleTV do? |

Not much other than airplay works flawlessly. Also Plex is a great addition, organizes your downloaded movies and you can add few plug-ins to watch TV streams/movies.
A bit early to see what good apps will come out of TVOS... This post has been edited by Slash21: Nov 2 2015, 12:41 PM |

QUOTE(666devil @ Nov 2 2015, 10:01 PM) Stupid Siri on Apple TV only support 4 English countries now. I believe sooner or later it will support other countries and languages.English (Australia, Canada, UK, US), German (Germany), French (France), Spanish (Spain), Japanese (Japan).* Siri for iPhone was like this when it was just launched. Now it supports most of the common languages in the world... |
