i understand that i need to download a zip file then put it thru ssh

Do you need a vpn to stream the netflix? AFAIK it required vpn since its geoblock right?

Either VPN or unblock-us.com should work.

forget about it, unless you have unifi running
streamy speed just doesn't work.

my cousin and i have try in penang 3months back.

It's better if u re-jailbreak with season pass for 4.4.4. More stable and much mor bug fixes and features, like AirPlay mirroring.
To load icefilms and navi-x, you need to download a program for windows called winscp, google it. And then transfer the zip files for icefilms and navi-x, which you can find very easily via google into the media folder of your apple tv. There are lots guides to do this. Lemme know if u need any help. Good luck!

I've installed navi-x successfully, downloaded the latest zip file v37_3. Tried icefilms yesterday, for some reason, it download 200MB file. No idea what that one for.. but still need netflix for my son to watch his old-time favourites like power ranges etc.

Sorry for new to the Apple TV, I would like to ask after jailbreak is the Apple TV able to play Astro TV channel or Malaysia TV Channel? For currently what is the latest jailbreak available on Apple TV? Thanks

Astro won't sue Apple since Apple only allows few streaming services, mostly US based one. If Apple decided to go local, they probably will ask Astro to develop an app, just like those Netflix, Hulu etc. that run on the AppleTV.
