Managed to setup atv3 using unblock-us free one week trial. I used the DNS as shown in their setup website. Can watch netflix which is great.

But I'm unclear what happens after the one week trial period is over. I used my iphone to register. But I stopped at #2 step which is configuring my device. it's showing my iphone is not configured and I only want to configure the atv3. Is that ok?

Will probably subscribe to their service.

Oh now i get it, you're saying we can still use the setup DNS like forever, and if we registered with id and email, we can login whenever it prompts to unblock site like amazon. And all for free.

Right?

Yes, that's what I'd like to know. The DNS ip address is published on their webpage for atv3 (to me, this seems "free"). After the trial week is over, do they block my access?

If I pay for subscription (which I intend to do), then what are the extras I'm getting? A bit confused on this one. rclxub.gif

I used the DNS before and yes it's free even after the trial, it works for every blocked porn sites.

Only problem when i have to login for amazon, so i seek for other dns.

Ok, got it. Hopefully, unblock-us will gave the login id if I want to access Amazon.

LOL. I'm setting up for my parents to watch movies esp those action packed and kung-fu movies. Preferably with subtitles for those with poor eyesight. Hopefully, can reduce/cancel Astro.

I have been using www.unotelly.com for netflix & amazon prime. Both manage to stream HD quality contents on Unifi.

I can't access netflix with the unblock-us DNS setup in atv3. I'm on trial now. Any ideas? sad.gif

Update: never mind. Got it. Had to login and register the IP address. Lol.

Btw, does anyone know if I upgrade unifi, would I get HD quality movies?

Is it due to the DNS slows it down?

It's the malaysia link to USA are congested , thats the one that slow us down
DNS is just to mask the location.

Your maxis is 10Mbps?

Showing superHD doesnt mean you can watch it. Have you tried play one or two superHD movies?

bought a used aptv3 for rm300. Looks new with box, plastics n all.

Now been using 1 month free unotelly DNS. Subscribed to paid netflix and crunchyroll, works like a charm!

Now I have lots of movies to watch until i dont want to watch anymore. haha. Have to browse to the streamyx VOD list to see what are the nice movies to watch.
