Not really lag. Mine SGS2 so far is ok with 99% no lags. Some lags are because of the apps. not the phone. Example:pirated apps, poorly rated apps on market.
Because of android is open source, some apps developers is messing with his apps.  sweat.gif

No. Even rooting can unlock some features like phone back up and some apps depend on root.. You can try install custom ROM which is fast and battery friendly. This because custom ROM usually already remove the unused samsung apps and has been tweaked to be stable, fast and battery friendly. smile.gif

As I dont have note, so I cannot tell you the best ROM that available. But you can try Criskelo ROM,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1448425
I had use his ROM in my SGS2 before this. No problem and battery life is good. And it also ICS themed.
The rule of flashing ROM is follow every step. Dont rush it. And yes can remove flash trace with usb jig.
More info for note can refer to this thread: http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=2239574&hl=note

Looking forward to buy my GF a new phone.... budget around 2k.

What is the best choices, she is using HTC Aria now.... but due to the phone small memory, her phone is in low memory state for more than a month. Cant even do anything becoz most of the apps that are in it cant be move to SD card too.

So now if it is a replacement for it what is the best choices? Should i wait till the new batch of phone coming in this 2 months time (quod core tegra 3 one) or just buy her any recent phone?

Her requirement are Battery more lasting (better than Aria), and reception must be good and call must be clear.

Hello Guys,

Need your opinions on Xperia Ray vs Neo vs Neo V vs Pro.
Kinda confused with these 4 at the moment. Previously was using X8.

My requirements would be the bigger the better screen, more internal storage space (i know it can be extended externally), upgrade to 4.0 ICS, ease of typing (my fingers are big), good audio quality (with headphones).

User reviews are most welcome.

Advance thanks for opinions.

I used Xperia W8 before and upgrade to Xperia Pro. Didn't regret since that day... thumbup.gif

Pro and Neo has the same size, 3.7 inch. Ray's screen is quite small. Ease of typing? Go for Xperia Pro! as it has a slide out and the most comfortable keyboard! (IMO)

4.0 ICS is coming up soon for Xperia Series notworthy.gif

I chose Xperia Pro because of the damn comfy keyboard and the elegant looks smile.gif Just take Pro if you want to have the slide out keyboard. Bare in mind, it is a bit heavier and thicker than Neo.

If you are ok with AP set, try to hunt for a Neo.
Otherwise get the ORI Pro, Pro = Neo + Keyboard.
Then only you consider Ori Neo V, Neo V = Neo - 8mp cam + 5mp cam.

See what package they include .
some shop give mw600 + live view and other accesories worth Rm600 then you can resale the mw600 and live view .

Then the price of phone is like Rm1100 only .

If they not include mw600 then its still a nice deal if you wan the live view .

Depend on you .
